Donkey Kong Bananza: What Path To Take On Theꦆ Divide?
The fourth layer of Donkey Kong Bananza asks you to make a choice for what level you want to play next - ൩but whicཧh choice should you make?
Donkey Kong has been an iconic character for decades now, but as the major mascot of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo Switch 2 launch window with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Donkey Kong Bananza, this feels like the most pressure that has ever been placed on his broad, hairy shoulders. He mostly manages to withstand it, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:as you can read in our review, handling himself well as he steps into Mario's shoes.
But let's say you want to step into Donkey Kong's shoes. How long would it take you to step back out of them with a job wel💫l done. That all depends on what you consider to be a job well done, as there are some post-game activities and a lot of collectibles to... wait, what's that thing you do with collectibles?
How Long Does It Take To Beat Donkey Kong Bananza?
If we consider beating the game to be reaching the end credits, then you can streamline a lot of the process. Every layer has tons of Banandium Gems to collect, but these aren't vital to progression. Some are discovered along the critical path, but in this 🥃part of the game, you never need to clear a threshold.
You will need gold to pay for various bridges in the penultimate layer, but this can be harvested quickly from gold rich layers like Hilltop, The Junction, and Tempest.
If you follow the main quest marker on each layer and focus on reaching the lower sublayers, defeating the bosses, and progressing, you can reach the final boss (no spoilers here) in eight to ten hours. However, in doing so, you will find yourself with less health and less effective Bananza power-up skills, as you won't have gathered enough Banandium to level them up.
Still, if you think you're the best Donkey Kong there is - a King Kong, if you will - then by all means race througꦐh the game in no time.
How Long Does It Take To Complete Donkey Kong Bananza?
Once you've rolled credits on Bananza, there is a post-game portion of the game that emerges. To do this, you need to go back to the five Elders who gave you your Bananza powers, completing one long obstacle course for each of them that utilises these powers. These are gated by Banandium Gems, so if you rushed the gamဣe, you'll need to do a lot of grinding.
- Kong Bananza - 300 Banandium
- Zebra Bananza - 350 Banandium
- Ostrich Bananza - 400 Banandium
- Elephant Bananza - 500 Banandium
- Snake Bananza - 600 Banandium
Exactly how long this specific portion of the game takes depends on how long you spent collecting Banandium in the main game. It took us around 30-35 hours to finish the game with over 400 Banandium Gems, and then another 10-15 hours on this part from there, including collecting extra Banandium and finishing the Challenges. All in all, that means anywhere between 40 to 50 hours or more.
We also spent this time 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hunting Extra Rare Fossils, which is not needed for this section🌌 of the game, but did add to our playtime.
How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent Donkey Kong Bananza?
After you've completed the Elder Challenges, you're still not done. To fully finish the game and unlock the final, secret ending you need to get all 777 Banandium in the game. This can be extremely difficult, as it means you need to find and finish all of the Challenge Courses, find every hidden Banandium Gem in the overworld, and do all of the Elder Challenges inside the speedrun times.
There's a skill factor in the time this would take, but given everything else in the game, you're probably looking at 70 hours at a minimum here.
