The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Doctor Who video game franchise is expanding, as Maze Theory announced today that they will be launching two more titles early next year in partnership with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kaigan Games, the studio behind 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Simulacra. The two games mark the completion of a planned trilogy, the first of which was November’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Doctor Who: The Edge of Time VR game.

One game will be a title for the PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Switch, while the other is described as a “horror/sci-fi mobile phone takeover game.” According to the 💟announcement, fans can look forward to two releases that include all the iconic hallmarks of the series, including “new adventures, new game mechanics, intriguing subplots and … the chance to collude with the Doctor herself.”

Maze Theory’s was due in 🎉part to an investment from the UK Creative Content EIS Fund (managed by investor Calculus Capital) in association with the British Film Institute (BFI). The BFI started the project to assist in bringing new investors to the UK creative content industry to cultiva🙈te impressive, large-scale companies.

The company also received the Immersive Technology Investment Accelerator grant from the Government’s UKRI Audiences of the Future Programme, which included a match funding investment from Vive X. These grants are providing substantial funding and support for Maze Theory’s next phase in 2021, which, as it is described, “will deliver a host of interwoven, first-time fan experiences and incredible storyte♕lling across multiple platforms.”

Maze Theory is also expanding its upcoming VR game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Peaky Blinders - The King’s Ransom, with the plaﷺn to add it to further platforms ♓upon when its release in 2021. The game is defined as a narrative-driven action-adventure that engrosses players in an immersive virtual world.

Maze Theory could stand to gain significantly with the Doctor Who IP, particularly now that they plan to extend the franchise to other gaming devices where the titles can reach a wider audience. Doctor Who: The Edge of Time received mixed reviews, but the company has as good a chance as any to hit it out of the park,﷽ particularly with Kaigan on boar💙d.
