Multiple Ice Blocks can be used to help banish even very powerful characters you'd think were safe. Even characters like Madame Meduse, The Boss can benefit by lowering an opponent's strength to hit her threshold for removal.

Preserver keeps your items safe from opponents' abilities or effects, which, in Sapphire, is a massive deal. Then, Royal Inventory lets you exert one of your items. Because of this, you can look at the top card of your deck and either keep it on top or place it at the bottom of the deck.
