In any other deck, this card would not be worth the investment since all it would take is one quick tickle of damage, and Lawrence would start doing no damage. However, with all the buffing and healing of Steelsong, Lawrence is a standout character.

Being able to lock your opponent out of action ca♓rds on their next turn is powerful in the hands of any deck, but in Steelsong, it allows them to fully take advantage of this effect and gain a free turn to use their songs or even set up a safe Shift. It does feel like cheating sometimes when we play this card.

A Whol🦩e New World allows you to cause a potentially catastrophic event and reset both your and your opponent's hands by discarding your current hand and drawing seven new cards.

This usually requires a lot of setup and investment, with it costing five Ink to use, but any five cost or more characters can sing it for free. In Steelsong decks, players often run tons of high-cost Shift characters or plenty of charact♍ers with low costs but great Singer abilities, which makes this card super simple to use when in a pinch to either disturb your foe's hand or refresh your own.
