Following up Archazia’s Island in March, Reig♏n of Jafar will be dropping in June, giving the Lorcana story its second big villain set following last year’s Ursula’s Return.
Revealed at the London Toy Fair, Ravensburger showed off the full product line and key art for the next expansion, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Archazia’s Island. As previously revealed, Bolt will be a large part of the set, but the packaging also shows off more of Mirabel Maജdrigal and The Mad Hatter.
In art released alongside the set, we also got a big look at Archazia itself, surrounded by the 101 Dalmations, Bucky, Alice, Yao, Ling, Chien Po, Musꦆhu, Mulan, Belle, and The Beast. Just your average day in Lorcana, then.
We also saw the two starter decks for Archazia’s Island, with an Amethyst/Emerald deck with Iago and Jafar, and a Ruby/Sapphire deck with Belle and the Beast. It’s nic꧒e to see the decks ma❀ke thematic links between their two face cards for a change.
The Next Two Sets: Reign Of Jafar And Fabled
However, the bigger news💦 was for the two sets launching after Archazia’s Island. The first is the previously revealed Reign of Jafar, which is launching on June 6. In it, Jafar has taken over Archazia’s island in what Ravensburger describes as the “greatest threat Lorcana has fac🎐ed”.
This suggests it is this year’s big story event, like last year saw a showdown with Ursula in Ursula’s Return. Whether that means we’ll get a new expansion for the 168澳洲幸运5开奖ꦰ网:rather excellent Illumineer’s Challenge c𝐆o-operative format that was introduced in Ursula’s 🍬Return is not yet clear, but it feels likely.
The third set of 202꧅5 has been revealed to be Fabled. We know very little about i🐻t, other than it features Mickey and Minnie and is launching in Q3. However, the art suggests a much more traditional fairy tale theme, with both dressed as classic princes and princesses.
In some ways, Fabled is reminding me of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering’s Eldraine. Like Fabled, it has a fairy tale theme and launched as a palette cleanser after a big story beat – War of the Spark for Magic, and Reign of Jafar for Lorcana. Whether Fabled leans quite as hard into its inspiration as Eldraine did is yet to be clear, but it ඣlooks charming none the less.
With the reveal of Fabled, we now know about further into Lorcana’s future than we ever have before. We’ll hear more about Reign of Jafar and ꦅFableꦛd as we get closer to their launch. For now, all eyes are on Archazia’s Island, as its prerelease launch is just over a month away.
