The first step of thisဣ journey will be the Notilus area that you'll reach after powering up the Tomorrow City projector screen. In this area, you'll have to raise the Notilus back up if you want to proceed.
How To Raise The Notilus
Apart from being the first, Notilus will also be one of the smaller areas in the Tomorrow City arc. You can easily capture the entire area in one glance, and your main goal there will be to raise the Notilus from the thinner pool🌄. To do this, you'll have to get on top😼 of the two crane-shaped pillars on either side.
You'll find multiple gears and platforms stuck to these pillars. Each platform will start rotating once the two gears connected to it are painted, and you can use it to get high up:
- Start from the bottom platform by painting both the wheels beside it. Once the platform is horizontal and you can stand on it, thin one of the wheels out so it stops moving. While this isn't necessary, it does make the job easier.
- Once you're on a specific platform, it's time to repeat the process with the one a little higher from it. However, while you're trying to paint the gears for the next platform, make sure you don't accidentally paint the ones you're standing on.
- After doing this a few times, you can easily get on top where you can paint another gear to activate the pillar. You have to do it twice, once on each pillar, to bring up the Notilus.

How To Save The Gremlin In Notilus
As you're going about your business in Notilus, you'll likely see the trapped Gremlin inside a cage on the left side of the area. While it's easy to spot this Gremlin, it'🌜s not quite as easy to reach it. Here are the steps you need to ဣtake:
- Start by going around the area and locating a place on the wall where you can see a thinned-out structure extending out with a small cage on it as well. Paint this structure and then thin the base of the pillar beside it.
- This will make the pillar fall on the extended part, which you can then take to get on the top of the hut-type structure and paint the first gear on it. This will extend another platform to your left, which you can then use to get to a concept art high up.
- After getting the art, you'll notice another small painted structure here with a pillar on it. Thin it out to reveal your second gear, which will make the pillars near the Gremlin rise up when you paint it.
- You can then use these pillars to get on top of the Gremlin building and thin it out to jump inside. If you free this , he'll do it for you.
- You will find the third gear inside the place where the Gremlin was trapped as well, which only leaves one more in the area.
You can get the fourth gear by thinning out another giant pillar's base on the right side of the area and then climbing on it.

After painting all four of these secret gears, the door to the hut-type structure will open and you can get a Pin chest there.
