One of the biggest selling points of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is its world design. The Cartoon Wasteland is a somber, dreary place that's equal parts eerie and nostalgic. You get a tangible sense of how pleasant this ersatz Disneyl🐼and used to be before a ꧃certain Mr. Mouse wrecked it all with his chicanery.

Whether you paint or thin them, Wasteland's biggest baddies aren't going to💯 go down easily.

Each area of Wasteland directly corresponds to a real-world Disney park; whether it's the Small World ride, the jungles of Ventureland🍌, or ✅the neon skyscrapers of Tomorrow City, players who've doled out the (considerable) dollars for a Disney vacation will be right at home... if not slightly unnerved. But which of these locales is the best?

The following article contains spoilers for every area of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, as well as details of the bosses you'll find in those locations. Not ev🍎en Thinner will erase them!

8 OsTown

It's A Town With Toons, But It's No Toontown

Mickey approaches OsTown in Epic Mickey Rebrushed.

OsTown is a fantastic example of Oswald's pure pettiness. Not content with mimicking Dis🧔neyland's Toontown, he crudely refashioned the 'O' and 'N' in its sign in🥃to a makeshift 'O' and 'S.' Voila, OsTown – a monument to the vision Oswald had in mind for his subjects, but gameplay-wise, a sleepy little hamlet with little to offer beyond a few NPCs.

There's Clarabelle Cow's house, which you'll want to pop into during Damien Salt's flower quest for a bit of botanical assistance. There's also Oswald's lost lover Ortensia's abode, not to mention a cheap copy of Mickey's pad, constꦓructed in the hopes he'd wind up forgotten someday. Other attractions include Animatronic Donald's tugboat and the Gag Factory, from which swings a dangerous, ten-tonne safe. Better watch where you're spra🎀ying that Thinner...

7 ൲ Ventureland

Jungle Worlds Have Been Done

Mickey paints in the Ventureland archway in Epic Mickey Rebrushed.

Home to the robotic Captain Hook and his crew (including Mr. Smee; ah yes, that "forgotten character" who everyone that's ever seen Peter Pan remembers), Ventureland is going for the tropical, high-seas aesthetic. It's all realized very admirably and works💫 in a load of references to the likes of the Enchanted Tiki Room and Pirates of the Caribbean – but it's tough to shake the sense of 'been there, done that.'

Concept arts are one of the main collectibles in Disney Epic💧 Mickey: Rebrushed, and here's how you can easily get them all.

Every platformer under the sun features a jungle or pirate-themed world, and Ventureland does♏ little to iterate on the concept. Skull Island is a standout section, with you poking around in dark caves and damp rock pools for machines to sabotage; and the throwdown against Hook with 'Pete Pan' in tow is a Disnerd's dream. Beyond that, though, it's not a pirate's life for us.

6 Dark Beauty Castle🗹 ൩

The Fireworks Are Just As High Budget

Dark Beauty Castle from Epic Mickey Rebrushed.

The first area Mickey finds himself in upon arrival to Wasteland, Dark Beauty Castle is a corrupted mir𒉰ror of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle and makes a spectacular initial impression. Warped stained-glass windows depicting assorted Disney villains adorn the walls, giant chandeliers swing over bottomless chasms, and ancient catapults wait for a greedy mouse to trigger them, launching their Gremlin captives to kingdom come.

You actually revisit the castle during the game's finale, as the Blot takes down the Moonliner Rocket, forcing a crash landing. This time, you get t♉o explore Oswald's old inner sanctum, including a gallery displaying works from Wasteland's history – a reminder of happier times. And this is all without even mentioning the stellar battle against the Blot itself, which sees you launching fireworks directly at the inky abomination. Oooh! Aaah!

5 ♈ Tomorrow City

It's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow

Mickey faces off against Petetronic atop Space Mountain in Epic Mickey Rebrushed.

W🅷asteland's answer to Tomorrowland, Tomorrow City is trapped in a decidedly 1950s vision of the future. Submarines and cable cars are as advanced as this area seems to think tech will get; but it all makes sense when you realize that, until a major overhaul in 1998, the real Tomorrowland was oft-criticized for being in a perpetual state of outdated-ness. Tomorrow, of course, always comes – but Oswald only had the old version to model his land after.

Finding Goofy's part is an important mission that you'll have wh෴ile exploring Tomorrow City, and here are all the places you need to visit.

You'll dock at Tomorrow City via the 'Notilus' submarine, a nod to the canned 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea ride. From there, it's into the Carousel of Progress for a showdown with a vora෴cious Slobber and onto Space M𝓀ountain, where Petetronic lurks with a crucial rocket part. The Spatters all dress for the occasion (their Tron helmets are adorable), and the excessive neon lighting makes this not-quite-accurate future stand out a mile.

4 World Of Gremlins🔜

These Ones You Can Feed After Midnight

The Clock Tower turns evil in Epic Mickey Rebrushed.

Shortly after departin🌟g Dark Beauty Castle, you're diverted into the World of Gremlins on your way to Mean Street, and it's here that the majority of the tutorial takes place. With guidance from his new buddy Gus, Mickey is tasked with fixing up all the attractions in and around the Gremlin village, including its centerpiece: a complete recreation of It's A Small World, which you'll be needing to conquer every continent of.

Anyone who's been on Small World knows there's always been something a bit sinister about it: armies of cherubs with unyielding grins, singing a cult-like a🍸nthem of global conformity on a never-ending loop. That uniquely off-putting quality is tapped into alarmingly well for the World of Gremlins, culminating in a (literal) face-off with the Small World clock tower, driven bonkers by the interminable music. Sure, it's a tutorial chapter, but it's one you won't soon forget.

3 ☂ Bog Easy & Lonesome Manor𒅌

Grim Grinning Ghosts Come Out To Give You Quests

Mickey jumping on tables in Epic Mickey: Rebrushed.

It wouldn't be a knockoff Disneyland without a knockoff Haunted Mansion. As one of the oldest and most universally beloved Disney attractions, as well as one that easily slots into the spooky vibes of Wasteland, it was an absolute lock for Epic Mickey if handled 🍬right. Thankfully, Lonesome Manor does this venerable classic justice.

Once yo𓂃u solve the Ventureland crisis, you'll be given three unique riddles by Jim, and here's how you can solve them all.

To even reach the mansion, you've got to go through Bog Easy, a run-down clone of New Orleans Square. 'Bog Easy,' of course, being a play on 'the Big Easy', a nickname for New Orleans proper; we see what you did there, Disney. It seems the bog is infested with ghosts that can't leave because Madame Leota, the manor's baroness, is in a bit of a tiff. Naturally, Mickey and Gus put her library back together while contending with stretching paintings, Doom Buggi🐈es, and a climactic fight with the Mad Doc🎃tor. You'll want to hurry baaaack...

2 🥀 👍 Mean Street

Walking Right Down The Middle

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed - Mickey approaches a Walt Disney Statue with Oswald.

There isn't a Disney fan alive who can't map out Main Street USA in their head. Casey's hot dog joint, the Emporium, the train station, the Mr. Lincoln theater, and of course the Partners statue are all irreplacꦍeable staples of the parks. Wasteland's Mean Street, then, takes the general layout and skews it at just enough of an angle to unsettle.

The cinema ('Steamboat Oswald' proudly adorns the marquee) is your principal point of interest here, since, in Rebrushed, it allows you to replay 2D projector levels for any missing collectibles. Also of note are Horace Horsecollar's detective agency and Pete's town hall – both of whom you'll want to appease as much as possible if you're after the good ending. All told, Mean Street is a surreal trip to poke around in, kind of like coming home to find someone's rearranged all your furniture. It looks familiar enough, but it's not quite right.

1 Mickey🅘junk Mountain

Who's The Leader Of The Trash That's Made For You And Me?

Mickey stares up at Mickeyjunk Mountain in Epic Mickey Rebrushed.

The very first glimpse any gamers got of Epic Mickey back in ဣthe day was its jaw-dropping concept art. Unbelievably gritty and graphic, it painted a picture of a dystopian nightmare populated with Disney faves who'd been put through the Hot Topic wringer – we're talking Pooh Bear with knives sticking out of him and Goofy looking💧 distinctly more robotic than you might remember him being. Ultimately, the final product softened these edges once execs put a word in; but the one area that bears that initial concept out fully is Mickeyjunk Mountain.

Seriously, this place is terrifying. Constructed of decaying Mickey merchandise that's tumbled down into Wasteland, Oswald has had it compacted into a mountain that serves as a constant trigger for his bitterness and envy. Decapitated, uncanny Mickey dolls are your bridges across T🦂hinner, while 1920s Mickey radios briefly sputter to garbled life, only to short out again. The mountain's interior is no joke either, with a Beetleworx production facility in full swing, ready to mince any unsuspecting cartoon rodents. Haunting and instantly memorable, Mickeyjunk is the game's crown jewel.
