The With Great Power quest is an introduction to this powerful sea witch, and it'll help you uncover extremely important information about the story of the Valley and the Forgetting. In this guide, we'll help you get through this quest as there are some riddles that might be difficult to get through and some spots that you'll have to find.

Updated July 5, 2023, by Sean Murray: Finding where the Cursed Cave is in Dreamlight Valley can be just as tricky as Ursula's spells. So to make things easier, we've refreshed this guide with improved formatting and a few breakout tips.

With Great Power Quest Overview

The With Great Power quest may seem like just any other story quest, but it's actually more important than you'd think. You will start the quest by talking to Merlin.

He will let you know that some villagers of the Valley are worried that the Forgetting may be happening because their memories are once again getting clouded by a strange presence. On top of that, an unknown dark entity has cursed a nearby cave, and you have to investigate it.

Merlin suspects that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ursula, the sea witch might be the one causing all this trouble as she fled to a cave on the north side of the beach when the Valley fell. You have to go and see what exactly is happening.

Cursed Cave Location

Merlin will only let you know that it's on the north side of the beach. The cave entrance is just a little farther down after walking past the Forest of Valor beach entrance, on the northeastern corner of Dazzle Beach.

Go to the location marked on the map above, and you'll find the Cursed Cave. Enter it and talk to Ursula. She will explain that before the Forgetting, the Pillar of Power was what🌟 protected the Dazzle Beach biome from evil magic, but this changed after the Orb of Power was stolen.

Now the entrance of the cave has been cursed, and she hasn't been able to escape. You have to help Ursula exit the cave by breaking the spell.

Opening The First Magic Gate

To free Ursula, you need to get the Orb of Power which has been hidden in another cave on the beach. If you promise to help her, Ursula will give you the Crystal Key which opens the 🔴door that leads into this mysౠterious cave.

The cave is right beside the Pillar of Power, on the grassy area of the beach, west of the fast travel well. Walk up to the pedestal next to the cave (the so-called ancient device) and select 'interact.'

Your inventory will open allowing you to select the Crystal Key, choose 'transfer.' This will create a big rumble and open the Mystical Cave's entrance.

Go down the path on the right and read the information on the stone. You will have to bring the statues the "gems that best match" them. These are the gems you need ♚to find and where you can mine them:

Mining rocks with minerals sticking out of them will guarantee that you find the mineral you are looking for. But if you don't find any of these rocks, try breaking normal black rocks; there's always a chance that minerals will appear underneath as the rock begins to break

You have to find Garnet, Aquamarine, and Peridot - it can't be their shiny counterparts. Bringing these gems will cause the first Magic Gate to open leading you to the next section that's also blocked by another mystical gate.

Opening The Second Magic Gate

Open the second gate by planting the following crops in front of the statues:

The crops don't have to be planted in any specific order, but you do have to ♉wait♛ for them to be ready for harvest for the gate to open.

Pick up what you've grown and move on to the next gate.

Opening The Third Magic Gate

The third Magic Gate will only open if you put the three ingredients together and cook them. So, get a lump of coal and use the kitchen near the third gate entrance to cook the tomato, the wheat, and the carrot. This will cook the recipe for the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Veggie Pasta dish. Eat it and the gate will open.

Break the rock near in front of the third gate to get a golden chest that will 🥀contain Star Coins, carrot♌s, a clothing article, and a recipe book inside

You will now have to fish the Orb of Power out of the golden spot in the water down below. Get the Orb of Power out and then bring it outside so that you can place it on the pillar near the cave entrance (that's the pillar with the dark purple smoke coming out of it). This will lift the curse surrounding the cave in which Ursula was stranded.

Return to Ursula and she will give you very powerful information about the Forgetting and the Forgotten, and how to spot them. Share what you have learned with Merlin to complete the quest.
