The dark Royal Knight hasn’t been around in the meta in quite some time, so it’s very refreshing to see another deck that can manipulate the memory gauge outside of Fenriloogamon. There are now four different Alphamon to choose for your♚ deck, but this one is one of the best.

On Digivolve, you get to recover one security card, making his Barrier protection effect way easier to proc. Not only can he bolster your defenღse, but his inheritable effect makes even stronger.

Speaking of the big bad boss Digimon himself, Ouryuken ACE is🔯 precisely what the deck needed to compete in a modern format filled with battle tricks and ridiculous protection effects. When Digivolving, Ouryuken can remove almost any body on the field, on top of healing one more security card if you DNA Digivolved.

Even though the deck always had ways of slotting an Ouryumon underneath your Alphamon stack, now an Alphamon on field will always threaten a powerful level seven with massive ꦺkill pote♓ntial.

8 Sakuyamon

Free Options And Draws

Just like Alphamon, the tertiary protagonist from the Digimon Tamers hasn’t been around as a deck in competitive settings. The deck revol𓆏ved around the many Plug-In Option cards, but now with this Sakuyamon, the speed 🃏of the deck is far more deadly than before.

The card lets you draw two cards, but given the mechanics of the Digimon Card Game, you always draw when Digivolving, effectively giving you three꧟ cards when the Fox Digimon comes out. Sakuyamon also lets you play an Option from the hand for free while providing you a blocker token for your troubles.

A new trait is introduced in the Release Special Booster 2.5. The ACCEL deck is a combination of Leomon line Digimon with a couple of Avian Digimon that can DNA into the mighty Chaosmon. The deck is not the best, but it is a fun deck to pilot. It won’t be seeing any mean🍎ingful wins any time soon, but its boss Digimon, Chaosmon: Valdur Arm, is generic enough to be splash into many decks.

There are plenty of top decks that can have multiple level six Digimon in their stack, making Val🌺dur Arm’s effect to freeze Digimon and Tamers that much more effective.

5 Invisimon

New Ways To Get Around Security

Out of all of the Liberator cards revealed in Release Special Booster 2.5, Invisimon is the one that a lot of players slept on🦄. Another generic card, Invisimon has an interesting effect. This card can remove Digimon without Digivolution cards while pseudo-healing your s♊ecurity.

This card can be splashed ꧂into just about any Blue deck. With its effect to flip your opponent’s Security card, your Digimo💛n will be able to check Security without having Jamming or any other kind of protection. Invisimon gives Blue even more flexibility than it already had.

4 Omniꦍmon (X Antibody)

French Omnimon For The Win

Royal Knights received ⛄a ton of more support in the Release Special Booster 2.5, but one of the best is Omnimon (X Antibody). This card can decimate just about any board that your opponent sets up, especially if you’re playing an Omnimon-based deck.

Even wꦛithout it, Omnimon X can be splashed into just about any Red, W🙈hite, or Blue deck. With this incredible boss Digimon, you can give another Digimon Rush to finish the game with another Security attack, all while clearing any possible blockers or threats.

3 Omekamon

Omnimon's #1 Fan

One of the cards that make Omnimon X so pivotal to the Royal Knights deck is Omnimon’s biggest fan, Omekamon. This lovely little guy 🎐adores the Royal Knight so much that he dresses up in his iconic armor made of cardboard while being able to Digivolve for free.

For a simple five memory, you can wipe your opponent’s board and get in a free atta🍬ck. If it comes to worse, Omekamon can also be a blocker if you’re running low in defenses. Once he’s deleted he can play another Omnimon from under your King Drasil DigiEgg, keeping the Omnimon fandom alive and well.

2 Imperialdramon: Fighter Mode 💮

The Virus Boogeymon Is Back

Imperialdramon has been terrorizing tournꦜaments for a while now, but this time, his Liberator counterpart, Virus Imperialdramon is here and ready to take its place on the top of the ranks. The deck plays similarly to the original blue and green Digimon, but this time, Imperialdramon can climb up the stack from the trash and without a regard to how much memory you have to play with.

Fighter Mode not only can hit hard with Raid and Piercing, but its floodgate effect that negates your opponent from playing Digimon or Tamers by effects can be a hindrance to many dღecks.

Outside of the Taomon Loop d🌸eck, Rika is still an essen🌄tial part of any Sakuyamon strategy. On play, Rika can search for any Digimon in the Renamon line alongside an option card with a cost of two or more.
