Not all dungeons were created equal in Diablo 4. Some instances have differences in layout, enemy type, or enemy density that make them more conducive for loot and experience farming. The Ruins of Eridu is one such location and one of the best dungeons to farm if you're looking for efficient grinding.
This guide will teach you everything you need to know about the Ruins of Eridu dungeon, including how to find its entrance, the objectives you'll be tasked with completing, and what enemies you'll face as you progress through its depths.
How To Locate And Complete The Ruins Of Eridu
The Ruins of Eridu entrance can be found in the Lake of Ill-Omen section of the Hawezar region.
The Vyeresz Waypoint will be your closest teleport, and the dungeon is only a short ride to the west. You can visually distinguish the entrance from other dungeons by the large statues that flank the cave's mouth.
The majority of enemies you will encounter inside will be Undead. However, there will also be an abundance of Fallen, so watch out for the Fallen Shamans; they can deal some surprisingly high damage🐼 from afar.
Your first objective will be to Slay all enemies in the Rotting Halls. The enemy density is high, so you should be consistently 🌸battling enemies during this part.
The layout should prevent you from doubling back on yourself too much, so just push forward and cleave down anything in your path.
There are no notable events to look out for in this dungeon, so focus on completing the objectives instead.
After you have cleared out the Rotting Halls, you should press onwards to the Fallen Chambers.
Here, you will be tasked with killing two Banes of Eridu. These Elites can be found at opposite ends of this section in a large circular room. They are nothing to worry a𝓀bout, and you can even skip p𒉰ast most of the enemies on your way to them.
After slaying the two Banes, you can progress into the final boss's chamber, the Lair of the Riser. Despite the ominous name, this is the easiest part of the dungeon, as this enemy is extremely simple to take down.
The Spiritcaller of Flames is a Fallen Shaman that will predominantly dance around his arena, summoning pillars of fire.
These pillars act as conduits for his fireball attack and will produce flames of their own in conjunction with his fireball. While this might sound deadly, the Spiritcaller has no deꦆvastating moves, and you should be confident in constantly attacking him.
His fireballs do not deal much damage and are not something you should be worried about dodging.
The boss will also periodically summon some Fallen to aid him, but generally, only two to thre🎉e enemies will spawn at a time.
Over time, their numbers will grow, as the Spiritcaller will resurrect any Fallen Overlords you have previously slain, but the boss should be dead by the time they appear in any significant nu🌟mbers.
Completing the Ruins of Eridu will earn you the . This increases the bonus of your Sacrifices by 15 percent and can be a valu൲able pickup for several top-tier Necro builds.
- You will also earn the usual rewards of Experience, Gold, and 20 Renown.
