As you complete dungeons in Diablo 4, you'll unlock Legendary Aspects for your Codex of Power, allowing you to store and use these powerful abilities later on. Legendary Aspects allow you to craft the perfect item with the best stats for your character.
The Necromancer's Decompose ability is a powerful Essence-generating attack that has a chance to spawn a Corpse when damaging an enemy, and the Flesh-Rending Aspect makes this ability even stronger. Below, we'll take a look at what this Legendary Aspect does, and how to get it.
What Is The Flesh-Rending Aspect?
The Flesh-Rending Aspect is a Legendary Aspect for Necromancers that can be unlocked in the Codex of Power. It has the following description:

After Decompose spawns a Corpse, gain [20-40] Essence. |
This Aspect is incredibly powerful in builds that use Decompose for resource generation, providing even Essence through Corpse spawning. With the high Lucky Hit Chance for Decompose to spawn a Corpse𓆏, the Flesh-Rending Asꦦpect has a pretty good chance to activate, allowing you to more easily sustain your Essence.
How To Get The Flesh-Rending Aspect
To unlock the Flesh-Rending Aspect in your Codex of Power, you'll need to complete the Nostrava Deepwood Dungeon. You can find this Dungeon in the Fractured Peaks, in the Pallid Glade area of the map. The closest Waypoints to the Nostrava Deepwood are Nostrava and Menestad.
In this Dungeon, there are a few objectives you'll need to complete before you can unlock the Flesh-Rending Aspect. First, you'll need to slay all enemies in the Wild Thicket area. Once that's down you can destroy the Skeletal Construct before moving into the Treebones Glade. There, slay three Treebones Elite enemies to complete the Dungeon and♔ unlock the Legendary Aspect.
Alternatively, you can get the Flesh-Rending Aspect from a dropped Legendary item. Because this Aspect only appears on Rings, you'll only be able to find it on dropped Ring Legendaries. From there, you can extract the Aspect f🅠or use on a different item.
