I've learned to be wary of splashy, ♒cinematic teaser trailers. Especially since we have no idea how long of a wait we're in store for!

In a new video shared on his YouTube channel, Kamiya shared that he would love to revisit the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Devil May Cry. The game, which is now 24 years old, is ripe for a r🍬emake, according🦹 to Kamiya, and he'd love to be the one to do it.

As it stands, the original Devil May Cry was later reimagined in the highly divisive DmC: Devil May Cr♑y, along with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:being ported over to modern hardware, but unlike Capc🌄om's Resident Evil games, it hasn't been remad🐷e for a modern audience.

"As for a Devil May Cry remake, of course I’d love to do that," Kamiya said . "I usually don’t replay my own games after release, and Devil May Cry is no exception. But once in a while, I catch gameplay clips and think, 'Yeah, this really does feel like a 24-year-o🃏ld game design.'"

Kamiya 𓆏further noted that he'd like to take advantage of the technology available to game 🐟devs today, plus some of the design approaches for a full-scale remake.

"With today’s technology and game design approach, of course, I’d want to remake it from the ground up. If that ever happens… well, I don’t think seriously unless it’s really happening, so right now, 🧜I don’t have anything in mind. But if the time comes, I’ll come up with something. That’s what I do!"

As an aside, don't think Kamiya has forgotten about Viewtiful Joe, either, as he a🉐sked Capcom to "let me handle Viewtiful Joe too!" Given how far away Okami 2 is, it might be a long — and we mean long — time before a remake of Devil May Cry would see the light of day. Still, at least we know we're not the only ones hoping for a remake.
