Throughout the game show, Tenna can be seen yelling at employees and calling out frequently to his co-wor♔ker, Mike. Mike never shows up during the show, but Tenna shows how much he relies on him. When you find yourself back in Castle Town, you may see a building with a large “TV” sign on it. Inside is a long hallway and a door with the name “Mike” at the end.
How To Find And Open Mike’s Door
Mike’s door is at the end of a long hallway in the TV building found above the Cafe in Castle Town. At the beginning of chapter four, you can visit the Castle Town and see this door for yourself. Unfortunately, you will find that you need to enter a code to unlock the door.
If the door is taped up, you may have failed to recruit enough of the employees from Tenna’s show back in chapter three. To recruit employees, you must engage in battle with them and spare or pacify them instead of killing them. Also, you will be able to recruit several of them while progressing through the story.
To get the code, finish chapter four. Once you have beaten the boss and finished the credits, load up the save file you used to complete the chapter. Upon loading, you will be sent back to an area before the final boss fight. Here, there will be a red teardrop object next to some steps below the save point.
Interact with the red teardrop and have it return you to the previous save point. When you get there, you’ll see a pink teardrop. Interact with it and have it take you to the beginning. You will then find yourself in front of a large door. Next to it is a green teardrop. Walk past this towards the right and keep walking until you see a spotlight. This will take you back to the Castle Town.
When you return 🌳to the Castle Town, Ralsei and Susie will not be joining you, so be prepared to face the challenges ahead alone.
When you get to the Castle Town, you will notice that all other areas and buildings are blocked off. Head up north past the Cafe and go to the TV building. Look for Mike’s door at the end of the hallway. Next to it should be a note. Read the note to see the code “6453” written on it. Enter the code to remove the lock from Mike’s door.
How To Enter Mike’s Inner Room
When you go through Mike’s door, you’ll find yourself in another long hallway. Walk until the very end and you’ll see a short cat statue. Pet the cat statue to reveal another hallway. In this next hallway, you’ll see a room up north. This is being blocked by several tall cat statues that are too high to pet. You’ll need a tool to help you reach their heads.
Go to the next hallway on the right. There’s a tall cat statue by the entrance as well as several hats hanging from the wall in this one. Head all the way to the very end to find a mouse that’s frightened of a cat statue nearby. Pet the cat statue to get rid of it, then the mouse will be grateful. It will turn into a stretchable arm that can reach short distances for you using your mouse.
You can use the arm to grab the different hats in the room and place them on Kris’ head.
Before you return to the hallway to the west, pet the tall cat statue in this hallway to reveal a treasure chest. Once you’re ready, head back to the hallway on the left. Pet the tall cat statues to get them out of the way, then enter the room above you. You will see a save point, a large mic, and another door to your north with the name “Mike” on it.
Use the large mic on the left to adjust your mic settings. Set the audio input to a working mic connected to your computer. Then, adjust the sensitivity of your mic.
Adjust the sensitivity in a way that makes it easy for you to control the volume of your audio input using your voice. If you make it too sensitive, yꦕou’ll find that you’re maxing out the input too much. Too little sensitivity may require you to shout to reach your desired volume. A good level would be to have your normal speaking volume reach the tip of the green bar.
When you’re satisfied with your mic settings, you can proceed to opening the door above you. You need to fill the door with color using your voice. The door will need your maximum volume to unlock. When you’ve lit it up completely, you’ll be able to enter. Save beforehand because there’s a fight waiting for you inside the next room.
How To Beat Mike
As foreshadowed by the previous room, you will be using your mic for the fight against Mike. You will need to have precise control of your own voice’s volume to dodge Mike’s attacks effectively. You will also need the hand that you picked up earlier to pet the different enemies you’ll face.
The First Phase Of Mike's Fight
For the first phase of the fight, the loudness of your voice will determine how high you will jump up. Maintaining a certain volume will keep you at the corresponding height while becoming silent will have you drop to the bottom.
First Attack |
Signboards will appear at the top of the screen. When the sign says "Applause", make your voice as loud as possible to dodge the mics that appear below. When the sign says "Shut Up", make no sound to dodge the mics that will appear above. |
Second Attack |
Mics will be coming at you from the right. These mics extend in height, so you'll need to be precise with your volume to avoid them. |
The Second Phase Of Mike's Fight
For the second phase, Mike will take a break and will be replaced by a stand-in: a cat which also happens to be a Mike. For the attacks it will dish out, your volume will again determine your jump height. This time around, you will need to use the mouse hand to pet the different cats that will appear on the screen.
First Attack |
Several small cats will be approaching you from various directions. Pet them with your mouse hand to make them disappear. |
Second Attack |
The four corners of the battle area will have a large sleeping cat. As time passes, the cats will turn an increasingly dark shade of red. Pet them to appease them. |
Third Attack |
The third attack is a combination of Mike's second attack from the first phase, but in addition to the mics coming from the right, there will be pillars of cats coming from that direction as well. Pet them while dodging the obstacles. |
The Third Phase Of Mike's Fight
The next Mike you'll be up against is Big Mouth Mike. For this phase, you will use your voice to move along a horizontal line.
First Attack |
A red light will flicker indicating where a paw will strike at you from above or below. Use your voice to position yourself in a safe spot. |
Second Attack |
Small paws will be raining down from above. Use your voice to avoid them. |
Third Attack |
Harder version of the first attack. Up to two paws will strike. |
The Fourth Phase Of Mike's Fight
For the last phase, you will fight all three Mikes and their attacks will be combined.
First Attack |
Move along the horizontal line to pet approaching cats and place blue cats on the bed. |
Second Attack |
Avoid the large paws while petting the large cats on the opposite ends of the line. |
Third Attack |
Avoid the three Mikes while petting them to deal damage. Also, pet the large cats to keep them from attacking you. |
Beating Mike will turn Mike's room into one with games you can play using the different mechanics introduced.
