With the official release of Deliver Us Mars, players have gotten plenty of time to explore humanity’s final hope of survival. KeokeN Interactive did a fantastic job carrying over its prequels storyline, where they continue Fortuna's original mission to the moon to the Red Planet.
Now, Deliver Us Mars makes us follow the rogue Lunar Council and recover the lost ARKs that escaped the Moon. KeokeN Interactive also sprinkled a plethora of interesting Easter Eggs only those who 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:played Deliver Us The Moon would catch on to, from connecting the voice recordings to snippets of its prequels stor🤡yline.
5 ♈ The Voice Recordings 🍌
Several of you may have noticed that a lot of the comms chatter and voice recordings in Deliver Us The Moon finally get a face in its’ sequel since most of the characters who made the voice recordings are actively helping Kathy in her mission on the Red Planet. Chaℱracters with fleeting references made towards them, such as Claire, Sarah, Isaac, and Ryan, all appear in Deliver Us Mars, as it shows us a time set ten years after its’ prequel, Deliver Us The Moon.
In fact, even our protagonist, Kathy, was briefly mentioned in some of the voice re🧸cordings in the prequel. While this may seem like a minor detail, it’s nice to get to know more about the characters and see them develop throughout the Deliver Us Mars Timeline as well.
4 🍸 Isaac, Isaac, Isaac 🍸
Let’s be honest. Almost everyone hated Isaac by the end of Deliver Us The Moon. We find that Isaac stabbed Sarah and placed her in cryo-sleep in the final parts of Deliver Us The Moon so that he could acquire the Helium-3 to power th🌞e third Ark for his own uses. In the same continuation, we find Isaac stranded upon Mars in Deliver Us Mars, implying that his en🤪deavor to save himself bore little fruit for him.
Throughout the game, Isaac fails to have any redeeming qualities as he plays a snobby side character to the protagonist, his daughter, Kathy. He also blatantly admits to not carꦬing about his other daughter, Claire. Who does that?
Ov𓆉erall, all we hear from him during Deliver Us Mars is how he can’t afford to return to Earth as a villain since they’ll ‘put him in jail,’ and his selfish desires are portrayed throughout the storyline. Fortunately, Kathy c𒐪an see through an unbiased lens and deliver justice by the end of the story.
3 🌳 Rolf’s Final E⛦fforts
Another big question mark in the prequel, Deliver Us The Moon, was over the fate of Rolf and his final efforts in Deliver Us Mars. Toward the end of the game, Deliver Us The Moons pওrotagonist, Rolf tries to use the Heliumꦜ-3 to save Earth but gets seriously injured in the process.
While the game leaves us on a bit of a cliffhanger as Rolf soon dies due to his injuries, poetically, Deꦰliver Us Mars shows us ample evidence that Earth got another chance at survival through Rolf’s efforts, despite 𒉰the unexpected sabotage by Isaac. Regardless, we can rest assured that our efforts in guiding the protagonist in Deliver Us The Moon weren’t all in vain.
2 ไ The Trolley Problem
KeokeN Interactive's unparalleled story-crafting ability is demonstrated in the prologue, where they eloquently foreshadow the ending of Deliver Us Mars. The Prologue has 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:you come across Claire's tablet, listing the homework that requires her to explain the classic ethical dilemma: The Trolley Problem. This encapsulates the entire rollercoaster the Johannson family has been involved in t💧hroughout Deliver Us The Moon and Deliver Us Mars.
For those who don’t know, the Trolley Problem asks people whether it’s better to allow a larger group of people to die by not intervening when you could have or interfere and cause a smaller group to die instead, thereby bearing the guilt and responsibility of their death. This is aptly demonstrated at the end of Deliver Us Mars, where Kathy has to decide whether or not she should return the stolen ARKs at the cost of diminishing the Mars colonist's chances of survival.
1 Claire And Sarah's Hidden Cargo
As you delve further into the storyline of chapter one, our protagonist Kathy comes acro𝓰ss a bright red box containing high-tech weaponry. While it holds little significance to players on their first playthrough of Deliver Us Mars, those who played Deliver Us The Moon quickly inferred the meaning behind the box's contents. Sarah and Claire still harbor rather hostile sentiments towards the colonists of Mars and apparently intend to bring them back to Earth through any means necessary.
The case of guns showed just how far Sarah a🦋nd Claire were willing to go to coerce the Lunar Council into returning with them. In the previous story, Isaac is shown to stab Sarah to r🤡etrieve the ARK for himself and also displays his disdain for his daughter Claire, and the bright red box is meant to show how these sentiments carry over from the story of Deliver Us The Moon.
