The main objective for these outings is to retrieve data racks from our rival corporation's "Caretaker" structures, giant data vaults that our opponents have somehow managed to sneak and construct within the planet. We can't have anyone else but our own beloved mining corporation of Deep Rock Galactic lay claim to the precious minerals and data from Hoxxes. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:So drink up a sour brew, get your snazziest pickaxe, and let's dive into the best tips for playing this exciting game mode.

7 ♈ Play With Friends

This might sound like the most obvious of tips, but that doesn't make it any less true. Deep Rock Galactic was quite clearly made to be played with friends, and while it does have a solo-player option, its true strength lies in its cooperative nature. If you're going to play Industrial Sabotage on some of the higher difficulty levels, try to rope in a few friends or even join a party online with strangers. Tackling the various objectives as a group makes a world of difference if you have more than one person in the roles of the mining crew.

6 Make An Easy Path From The Pow𝔍er Stations𒀰 To The Hacking Robot

It's a bit of a pain, but more often than not, the hacking robot our corporate overlords drop onto Hoxxes are located at the most inconvenient places in comparison to the Power Stations they're meant to hack. But since we've got to lower the shields around the data vaults before we can collect the stolen data, there's nothing for it but to carve our own paths between the two. Literally.

When playing Industrial Sabotage, it's incredibly helpful to have either the Engineer or the Driller on your team. The Engineer can lay down steps or make bridges with their Platform Gun, and the Driller can make large, evenly spaced tunnels to get to hard-to-reach places. You're going to want that on your side when setting up the transmitter nodes for good old Hacksy.

Once the transmitter nodes are set, it's time to get Hacksy up and running. It is of course at this point that a swarm of Glyphids will bum-rush your location, and for some reason, they all want to nibble on Hacksy. You and your team have to ensure that Hacksy is not damaged too much, otherwise the hacking procedure gets interrupted. It is at this point that having the Engineer and their Sentry Turrets around will come in handy. You can place the turrets around Hacksy so any Glyphid that gets too close will get a face full of bullets.

4 Positioꦛn Your T♍eam Around The Caretaker

Once the shields around the data vault are down, it's time for you and your crew to attack the Caretaker and abscond away with the data rack. This is not a straightforward task, as the Caretaker proves to be quite the boss fight. Before initiating the fight, it's important you position everyone around the Caretaker so as to better hit its weak spots. The eyes of the Caretaker are its weak spots, and they are found on all four sides, so in order to maximize the damage you deal to them, it's best you get your dwarves evenly spaced around it.

3 The Gunner And Scout Are Best Suited For Dealing With The Caretaker's Arms

Part of the Caretaker's attacks against you will take the shape of these wavy mechanical arms (think Doc Ock from Spider-Man) that sprout from the ground. Shooting these arms does not deal damage to the Caretaker itself, but they are ruthless in striking out against your miners, so dealing with them is still important if you want to shoot at the Caretaker's weak spots unimpeded.

Both the Scout and the Gunner are well-suited for tackling the arms as they can lay down suppressive f𝓀ire for the cluster of waving tentacles. If you have a full team of dwarves, consider assigning the Gunner and the Scout to "Care🔯taker Arm Patrol."

2 Make Sure The Caretaker's Eyes Aren't Shielded Before You Shoot

The Caretaker has some great defenses in place so that the intrepid employees of Deep Rock Galactic don't just steal data racks willy-nilly. Not only will those tentacle arms appear and explosives be thrown at you, but shields will appear over its weak points from time to time. In order to conserve your ammo, it is vital you keep an eye out for those moments when shooting the eyes will not inflict any damage on the Caretaker. Only fire at those glowing orange eyes when you know the Caretaker will feel it.

1 The Engineer's Breach Cutter Is Incredible For These Fights

One of the weapons available to Engineers in Deep Rock Galactic is the Breach Cutter, and holy ꧃heck, it is a fantastic weapon. It's basically a combination of Dead Space's Plasma Cutter and Line Gun. Massive lines of energy will travel and cut through some of the toughest substances found on Hoxxes IV, including but not limited to your enemies. And since the big fight against the Caretaker in these Industrial Sabotage missions involves clusters of enemies with varying weak points, there is no finer tool to see you through to victory. All in all, the Engineer is definitely a dwarf to have with you on these assignments.
