Luckily for you, finding guns in this game is relatively easy. You'll get your first one when waking up at the beach; after that, all you have to do is explore around the different areas of Blackreef to find something more to your liking — whether that's a shotgun, a handgun, or even a rifle. However, in Deathloop, weapons come in different tiers (Grey, Blue, Purple, and Gold), and the better ones have game-changing perks that will make 🌱going through each loop way easier. If you like rifles, keep readin𓂃g to find out how you can unlock a unique single-shot rapier with the Silver Bullet Perk.

Why You Should Get The Silver Bullet Rapier

Silver Bullet Rapier Deathloop menu

In Blackreef, weapons aren't scarce and there are ammo vending machines scattered all over the place. This means you'll get to choose from tons of good options, so it all comes down to how you like to play. For example, there's Aleksis' Vampire LIMP-10s, which, thanks to its perk, you'll get health every time you harm enemies, or the Fourpounder, an excellent hand cannonও th꧟at combined with the right perk and rarity can be a total powerhouse of a weapon.

But if you're someone who likes to engage in long-range combat, then the Rapier is the one for you. This weapon is so good it can even two-shot Julianna (and that's just what you'll need during the game's late stages). Add some trinkets into the mix, and you'll be all set and ready to cause some mayhem.

If you're going to use a Rapier, you'll want to get one of the best ones out there, and that is the purple rarity Rapier with the Silver Bullet Perk. Basically, this perk gives you infinite ammo as long as you hit a target every time you shoot; however, if you miss, the wꦰeapon will be use✃less for the rest of the mission.

  • Since this specific Rapier has a purple rarity, it'll have three available trinket slots so you can customize it to your liking.

How To Get The Silver Bullet Rapier

Feedback Loop note

Like most exceptional weapons in Deathloop, this Rapier is earned rather than found. All you have to do is go to The Moxie in Updaam during the afternoon and complete another one of Charlie's Games. This time, you'll have to take part in obstacle courses across three different floors.

  • Keep in mind that, before heading to The Moxie, Colt will have to learn first when it'll be open. So the first thing you'll have to do is head over to Updaam during the morning, then go to The Moxie, and read the Feedback Loop note taped to the door that states that the Moxie will be open to the public in the afternoon.

Completing each course will grant you a random trinket (three in total), but this is where it gets interesting; if you manage to complete all the courses in less than 2:15 minutes, you'll get the purple rarity Rapier with the Silver Bullet Perk.

  • If you want to infuse this weapon, it'll cost you 8,000 Residuum.

How To Complete The Moxie's Challenge

Outside The Moxie in Updaam

This challenge will have you stepping on illuminated pathways or dodging lasers to get your rewards, but if you want to get the grand prize, you better prepare before setting a foot inside The Moxie. So here's everything you need to know to complete this challenge:

Enter The Moxie

Inside The Moxie in Deathloop

You will only be able to enter The Moxie during the afternoon, so once the time is right, head over to Updaam and then to The Moxie. Upon entering the building, you'll see a big red button and two halls; the one on the left says "Lasers," while the one on the right says "Pressure Plates."

To start the challenge, press the button in the middle, and a recording of Charlie will play explaining the rules; now head over to either one of the halls and press the button on the hall's entrance to start that side's challenge.

If You Choose Pressure Plates…

If you choose to go through the "Pressure Plates" hall, some of the floor's squares will light up and slowly move down the room towards you; make sure to time your jumps so you land on the illuminated squares and can move forward. Upon reaching the hall's end, press the red button to end that challenge.

If You Choose Lasers...

However, if you choose the "Lasers" hall instead, you'll have to dodge the lasers that are moving across the room and crouch wherever needed. Once you reach the end, press the 🌟red button to finish the challenge with the other hall.

  • Note: It doesn't matter which one you choose first as you'll have to go through both halls to complete each floor. So after finishing the first one, you'll have to quickly go back through the middle to start the other one.

What Happens After Completing The First Floor?

going to the second floor in the moxie

After getting through the first halls, a new section will open, and you'll be able to get into The Moxie's second floor, so grab your first prize and go there. Very much like the last one, this floor will have two different halls, one with pressure plates and the other one filled with lasers; this time around, however, it'll be a little more difficult getting through.

Once you're done, grab your second trinket-prize and quickly go up the stairs to get to the third one. You better hurry, remember there's a clock ticking!

The third floor has, you guessed it, two halls on each side, one with lasers and another one with♏ pressure plates. Just like before, traverse both of them in the least amo☂unt of time possible and get your last trinket.

What Happens After Completing The Three Moxie's Floors?

If you manage to complete all of the floors before the timer ends, a new area will open at the end of the middle corridor, where you'll be able to pick up your new and shiny Silver Bullet Rapier. Enjoy!

What Is The Moxie's Easy Mode?

The moxie in Deathloop

It wouldn't be a Deathloop area if Colt couldn't hack something using his Hackamajig. In this case, you can hack an antenna to activate The Moxie's easy mode. At first glance, this will appear to do nothing, but when doing The Moxie Challenge, each course will be way easier now, and you'll even get a whole extra minute to complete all the floors!

What Happens When You Activate Easy Mode?

The major thing is that you get more time to complete all the floors, so getting that grand prize will be less of a struggle. But wait, there's more; in easy mode, none of the second floors lasers will move, making it easier to avoid them. Moreover, on the third floor, you can now fail the Laser hall once and then restart it to make all the lasers on that floor stop.

However, easy mode comes with a downside; when active, someone else will beat you to the first-floor trinket prize, so you won't be able to get it.

How To Activate Easy Mode

Activating The Moxie's easy mode is really, well, easy. All you have to do is head towards the brown wooden door that's on the left of The Moxie's main entrance, just under the rocky overpass.

  • Keep in mind that you'll only be able to activate easy mode during the morning.
antenna hacking in Deathloop

Open it and go downstairs to find the "From The Machine" note, which says someone named Sparky added a debug mode to the building. Now, use Colt's Hackamajig and hack the antenna in that same area, and you're done! Easy Mode will now be active.
