Deadlock is rapidly gaining popularity, and a large part of this increasing fanbase consists of players from other MOBA games, such as League of Legends or Dota 2. If you're one of those people and aren't fond of going in completely blind, you may be grasping for ✃familiarity.

While Deadlock is a third-person shooter, you have some melee options if you pre🎀fer to get personal with your enemies. Here are the best.

2

Fortunately, a lot of Deadlock heroes have abilities that can be translated from Lꩲeague of Legends champions. If you have a League main and want to play a Deadlock hero similar to them, we're here to help!

12 Bebop

Blitzcrank With Velkoz's Ultimate

Bebop's the simplest comparison to make, despite him being played in more than just the support role. He provides your team with utility in the form of heavy displacemen🌠t, with all of his skills changing the enemy's position in one way or anot꧂her.

Not only can he hook enemies, Blitzcrank's most iconic ability, bu𝄹t🅠 he can also follow up with an uppercut that launches them into the air, also like Blitzcrank. If you also like playing Velkoz, Bebop's ultimate is a giant laser that incinerates everything and everyone unfortunate enough to come in contact with it, making him a very scary Blitzcrank.

11 Yamato

Yasuo, Yone, Aatrox, Tryndamere

Yamato's one of the coolest heroes in Deadlock, bringing swords to a game where most of the cast fight at a range. Playing her is💛 similar to playing Yasuo or Yone, carefully dashing into the enemy, cutting them with your sword, and dashing back before getting killed.

Yamato has another aspect to her kit, though, which makes her similar to Aatrox. Her Slash regens health, and all of her skills can be canceled into melees, which feels similar to Aatrox dashing during his skills. Also, she's completely immune to death in her Ultimate, much like Tr♐yndamere.

10 Viscous

Zac

The resemblance here is almost too slimy to need any emphasis. Both Viscous and Za🧸c are made of goo, allowing them to change their bodies' shapes in various ways to aid them. Both of them provide lots of CC (Crowd Control) for their teams and are very diffi♏cult to kill.

Keep your team in one piece.

As for specific skills, there may be differences at first glance. However, Puddle Punch gives Viscous both Zac's E, letting him launch himself towards enemies, as well as a displacement ability akin to 🐎Zac's Q. Furthermore, both of their Ultimates have them turn into balls of gooey slime.

9 Infernus

Brand

Another one of the easier similarities to find, both Infernus and Brand are fire people that burn their enemies. All of their skills are themed around fire, throwing embers that apply damage over time to enemies hit. Like Brand, Infernus is excellent at poking and annoying the enemy with his skills and can be a bother due to Afterburn. However, where Brand is a pure glass cannon with no mobility whatsoever, Infernu🌺s has ways of repositioning himself, mainly via Flame Dash.

Speaking of his skill, Infernum also takes inspiration from Singed's poisonous flasks, leaving a trail of flames ablaze wherever he walks through when using this skill. His Catalyst also works similarly to Singed's Q, being an AOE slo🦄w.

8 McGinnis

Heimerdinger

Why fight yourself when you can overwork tiny mechanical critters to ꧑do your deeds for you? Both McGinnis and Heimerdinger can create turrets and other constructs to aid them in battle. The aesthetic of depending largely on machines and turrets is the same for both of them as well!

However, where Heimerdinger is more of a mage, using his various turrets to bombard enemies at once, McGinnis optꦿs to use her machinery to push turrets instead. She has an artillery shot for her Ultimate that is reminiscent of Xerath's Ultima🦄te, and she also has a wall much like Anivia's.

7 Abrams

Mundo With Galio's Ultimate

Give Corporate Mundo a gun and some horns, and you'll have Abrams. He's a melee tank that can regen health even when he's surrounded by enemies, much like his League counterpart. This skill lets🅰 him be extremely aggressive due to how durable it makes him.

These starter heroes are a gℱreat choice for newcomers to Deadlock.

The rest of his kit is relatively straightforward, encouraging an in-your-face playstyle that Mundo players are very used to. He also has Galio's Ultimate from League, letting him fly up into the air and then slam into🥃 the enemy team.

6 Lash

Vi, Camille

Lash is a hero who flies around with a big fist and slams it into enemies, similar to a certain pink-haired rebel from Arcane. The similarities with Vi (the aforeme꧒ntioned pink-haired rebel) don't end 🐽here, with both heroes bringing their foes into the air for an aerial pounding using their Ultimates.

Lash can also be 🔯a good pick for Camille or Akshan 🥀players, using his whip to launch himself at (or away from) enemies, stomping their wins away.

5 🧔 Mo & Krill 🐻

Nunu & Willump (And Reksai)

If you want to play two characters in one, Mo & Krill are your heroes of choice in Deadlock. This pair is similar to Nunu & Willump, not only because they both feature a tiny person riding a bigger, scarier thing but also because their abilities translate nicely to one another. Mo & Krill can deal damage to enemies nearby, similar to Willump's Bite, whereas Burrow can make you barge into the enemy team, like the Biggest Snowball Ever. Furthermore, on a more technical level, Mo & Krill also resemble our noisy underground neighbor, Reksai. Both heroes ♔can burrow underground and then jump out near enemies to perform an enhanced attack. Also, they're equally as hard to pin down and kill.

4 ♊ Grey Talon

Varus, Ashe, Or Any Bow Character

League has many bow characters, and Grey Talon ಞdoesn't have a kit fully translating to any single one. His piercing shot resembles Varus's Q, while his Ultimate is as if Ashe's scouting bird was a nuke.

If you like any of the bow characters in League and want to play the closest he𓃲ro to what you're used to in Runeterra, Grey Talon's playstyle of shooting out charged arrows will come intuitively to you.

3 Kelvin

Anivia, Lissandra, Nunu, And Willump

If you like freezing stuff, Kelvin has eve༺rything you'll ever need. His Ultimate resembles Nunu's R, but the actual effects differ. As for his other abilities, they safely don't resemble anyone from League beyond the frosty theme.

Overall, while his skills don't m👍atch a specific character, the aesthetic an💟d theme of freezing and the cold make him a solid pick for players who want their characters with a side of ice.
