might be easier than the original 2006 release, but it's still full of challenging moments. Most of these ca⛎n be attributed to its boss battles against human enemies, better known as Psychopaths.

Dead Rising Delu🔯xe Remaster - Jo Slade Psychop💖ath Guide
Jo is easily one of Dead Rising's most difficult Psychopaths, but here's how to finis💜h herꦐ off easily.
While a good majority of the Psychopaths in Dead Rising are optional and up to the player to seek out, there are a few that Frank is required to defeat as part of the main♛ story. The first of these is none oth🦄er than Steven Chapman.
How To Find Steven Chapman
Steven is an easy Psychopath to find, as he's a mandatory part of Dead Rising's main story. Once you've cleared Case 2-1 and battled Carlito in the Entrance Plaza, Brad will be injured and require medicine. This kicks into motion Case 2-3, Medicine Run, which tasks Frank with going to Seon's Food & Stuff in North Plaza.
Once you arrive at the supermarket (which is also the best source of food in the game since it infinitely respawns here), 🅷Frank will notice that it's weirdly quiet inside and compl♕etely free of zombies. He quickly realises why when he runs into Steven, the shop's manager who has snapped and is now running around with a weaponized shopping cart.
How To Defeat Steven Chapman
Preparation
When you're given the quest to find medicine from Seon's Food & Stuff, you'll notice that you have a lot less time than you did for some of the game's other Scoops. That might make you want to rush around, but don't stress too much as you've got a decent amount of time. As always, make sure to grab some food and drink such as Orange Juice, Milk, and Coffee Creamer.
If you forget to bring food along or just end up using it during the battle, you can find everything you need in🍎side the supermarket itself, so it's a little less important here.
Since most of Steven's moveset is based on his weaponised shopping cart, it's very hard to get close to him during the battle. That makes long-ranged weapons like the Submachine Gun, Sniper Rifle, and Shotgun a near-necessity in this battle and something you should stock up on. Make sure to visit the Huntin' Shack in North Plaza bef🥃ore you start this mission, which you sho꧂uld have cleared out by now.
Although firearms are the key to success here, it's also worth grabbing some reliable melee weapons just in case you can get behind Steven during the fight. By now, Adam's boss fight should have been and gone, so the Small Chainsaw is a great thing to hold 👍onto, especially since it s♉pawns in Wonderland Plaza right next to where the fight begins🀅.
Steven's Moves
Steven is one of the more simplistic Psychopaths in Dead Rising, although that doesn't make him any less dangerous. His main weapon is a shopping trolley that's packed with knives and other sharp weapons, which he'll make use of by charging at Frank whenever he's nearby. This is his main attack, which is deadly considering the tight supermarket aisles♛.
Steven will also 🍨spin the shopping cart around and kick out at Frank if he's behind him, so try to stay ahead and away at all times.
Although Steven will mostly attack by charging at Frank with his shopping cart, he does have some ranged capabilities. His other main weapon is a Shotgun, which he'll use to shoot Frank when he gets too far away. He doesn't do this much and it's easy to avoid, but if ཧyou see him stop the trolley, be prepared to dodge a shotgun blast.
Defeating Steven
While most of the other Psychopaths in Dead Rising are pretty complicated and have a range of attacks, Steven really just has his shopping cart and shotgun to be worried about. Both deal a lot of damage to Frank if he's caught by them, but it does make his boss fig▨ht more simplistic and🍎 give a clear strategy to beating him.
Steven is a boss you're going to want to stay away from at all times, keeping ahead of his Weapon Cart and staying out of his reach. Whenever you're not close to Steven, use a long-ranged weapon like a Handgun, Shotgun, Submachine Gun, and Sniper Rifle to shoot him and chip away at his health.
If you've not cleared out Cletus' gun shop by now,🙈 then keep the Paradise Plaza Submach♊ine Gun and Handguns dropped by zombies in mind.
If Steven does get close to Frank, you're either going to want to get out of harm's way or be brave and try to attack him with a melee weapon. Steven is best attacked from the back, but you shouldn't stay close for too long as he'll spin around and hit Frank with the cart. Melee should be a last resort at all times, but with the right weapon and enough health, it's a viable st🌳rategy.
Rewards For Defeating Steven Chapman
The main reward you'll get for defeating Steven is a new weapon that spawns from Seon's Food & Stuff - the Weapon Cart. This suped-up version of a shopping cart instantly kills zombies when it makes contact with them𝓀, making it a worthy thing to carry around for a bit once you've cleared Case 2-3.
Beyond that, Steven's defeat also grants Frank a key that he can use to collect the medicine that Brad needs, which is a key part of the main story and something you'll need to do to see the game through to the end. You'll also, as always, get a𒁏 decent amount of PP for defeating the supermarket manager.
Defeating Steven counts as one point towards the Puni🍒sher challenge that req𒁃uires you to defeat 10 Psychopaths overall.
