Dead Rising is🐲 tough, but Mixed Juices are here to make it a lot easier.

One of the most interesting additions that's been made to Deluxe Remaster is to Frank's camera. In the original release, you couldn't do much with it beyond taking photos and changing its battery, but there are now several parts that can be discovered across Willamette. H🌱ere's where you can find them all and ⛎what they do.

What Camera Upgrades Do

As the name implies, the three camera upgrades that can be found in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster give Frank's trusty camera some new functionalities. They aren't mandatory for taking good ph﷽otos, but they do add a bit more depth to the mechanic as a whole and give you something else to look for while making your way through Willamette.

Even without the collect♏ible upgrades, Frank's camera comes with a bunch of new features, such as being able to tilt and apply filters to your photographs.

Where To Find The Flash Upgrade

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster's first camera upgrade is an easy one to find, as you're likely to run into it the first time you enter Paradise Plaza. As you leave the warehouse, turn to the right and you'll find Cam's Camera. In the original game, this is just where you can repleni🐲sh batteries, but t💛his time around there's an upgrade waiting for you on the shelf.

This and every other camera upgradeꦕ is marked with a blue star icon that's🍬 easily visible even from far away.

The upgrade in Cam's Camera allows Frank to add a flash to his photos, brightening the image in front of him and shining a light on his subject. It's honestly not as impressive as it sounds🧸, as it usually washes out everything else, but it's nice to have for close-ups.

Where To Find The Brightness Upgrade

The second camera piece to be discovered is located in Philo's Photos in Wonderland Plaza. Climb up the stairs and get to the first floor of the plaza and make your way over to the camera shop that's opposite Sir-Book-a-lot to pick up the upgrade🌱 a⛄nd give your camera a new ability.

The upgrade in Philio's Photos allows Frank to manually change the brightness of the photos that he takes by pressing X and Y respectively. It's perfect for chan🉐ging how a photo looks during the game's nighttime sections.

Where To Find The Focus Upgrade

The third and final camera part that can be found in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is located in Pearly White's Photo in North Plaza. This is another one that's easy to find, as it's right across from Crislip's Home Saloon where you encounter Cliff. Go into the store and you'll fi🤪nd the upgrade on the shelves to the right.

As the name implies, this camera upgrade lets Frank manually adjust his focus instead of it being automatically done by the game whenever taking a photo. Again, not the most helpful upgrade, but it is🅠 a nice bit of functionality.
