Every three months, a new chapter is released to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead By Daylight that usually consists of one new Survivor and Killer. While the mechanics stay the same no matter which Survivor you play, the story is different for Killers. Each Killer has a unique set of abilities that can be used to hunt Surv🤪ivors and sacrifice them.
Along with Chapter 26, the 30th Killer called The Knight was intrꦇoduced to the game. He is like a commander who can control different guards and use them to block different loops for Survivors. While the Killer is fun to play, he can be quite daun💖ting to learn in the beginning.
How Does The Knight's Power Work
The only thing that is shared between each killer in Dead By Daylight is their ability to walk up to a Survivor and hit them. Other than that, each Killer is different based on their height, movement speed, and abilities. The Knight's ability involves three different guards that can be asked to do many different things.
You can use the guards for patrolling a certain area, breaking generators, walls, or pallets, and hunting the Survivors.🍬 Since there are three guards, eac𒆙h one of them has its own specialty.

This guard is extremely slow while hunting a Survivor, but they can break walls, pallets, and generators quickly. |

The Assassin moves fast when he's hunting the Survivor and puts the♛m 🅺in Deep Wound if he hits them in a healthy state. |
The Jailer |
The Jailer has a larger detection range and stays on the patrol for longer than the other two guards. He also hunts the Survivor for th🐻e shortest amount of time. |
When you have your power ready, you can press the Power button to go into summoning mode. When you're in this mode, you can move in any direction to lay down a trail. Once you activate the power button again or stay in the summoning mode long enough, the power will end and a guard will patrol the trail you just created.
The guard spawns at the point where ꩵyouꦗ ended the trail, not where you started it. This can be a little confusing at the start, but it's better this way because the Survivors will be running away from you, and they'll get confronted by a guard in front of them.
As mentioned above, there are three different guards The Knight can spawn, but you don't have any direct control over their spawn order. It always goes in the same order: The Carnifex > The Assassin > The Jailer. Though 🌜there are a few things that y💜ou can do about this:
- Three yellow add-ons allow you to spawn a certain guard twice in a row. You can use a maximum of two of these, allowing you to have double guards of two types.
- If you want to create a certain guard, you can keep using your power and attacking the guard to despawn them until you get the one you want.
Perk Synergies With Nowhere To Hide
Nowhere To Hide is one of the best aura-reading perks in Dead By Daylight. Whenever you kick a generator, the perk reveals the auras of all the Survivors within 24 meters radius of your position. The Survivors can avoid showing their aura if they go inside a locker. So, if you kick a generator and don't see any Survivors nearby, it might be time to check some lockers.
This perk does not activate if you kick a generator using your guards. While this is counter-intuitive for The Knight's power, it can still be great for many killers.
There are quite a few perks that 🅰sy𒆙nergize well with Nowhere To Hide:
Brutal Strength |
At level three, Brutal Strength increases the speed at which you kick a generator, a pallet, or a wall by 20 percent. Nowhere To Hide activates after you finish the generator-kicking animation, but this can be quite a long process. Bruta🌊l Strength allows you to do it quicඣkly. Apart from this synergy, Bౠrutal Strength can always help you end chases quickly 𒁃because of faster pallet kicking as well. |
Call Of Brine |
If you're going to see all the Survivors near a particular generator, it can benefit you when the generator regresses at 200 percent speed with Call of Brine. Since you'll chase the Survivor hiding nearby, there's no way the generator regression can be stopped unless another Survivor comes there. |
Darkness Revealed |
Darkness Revealed is another aura-reading perk that reveals the aura of any Survivor near lockers when you open one of them. If you don't see a Survivor's aura when you kick a generator with Nowhere To Hide, you can check lockers in case they're in them. Even if they're not, Darkness Revealed prevents you from losing your time since you'll be able to see other Survivors on the map. |
Trail Of Torment |
Trail of Torment gives you an Undetectable status effect whenever you kick a generator every 60 seconds. This effect lasts until you ﷺhit a Survivor or someone toꦯuches the generator. This can help you catch a hiding Survivor off-guard. |
Discordance |
Before you head over to kick a generator to find Survivors, you need to know which one they're repairing. Discordan🤡ce gives ꦆyou a notification whenever two or more Survivors are working on a certain generator. |
Perk Synergies With Hex: Face The Darkness
Hex: Face The Darkness is a unique Hex perk since it's the only one that can constantly activate and deactivate. Whenever you injure a Survivor, they become hexed and all the Survivors outside your terror radius scream every 25 seconds until the injured Survivor goes down or heals up.
When the Survivor is hexed, a random dull totem on the map lights up. This totem becomes dull when the Survivor goes down or heals up. If the totem is cleansed while it's lit up, the perk deactivates permanently﷽. This opens up space for a lot of synergistic perks:
Hex: Undying |
Since this perk can activate and deactivate during the game, you can get unlucky and the totem might light up right beside another Survivor. To avoid losing your perk in these scenarios, H🏅ex: Undying can be used as a second chance. |
Dark Devotion |
The combination of Face The Darkness and Dark Devotion can make the Survivor team quite confused. If you injure the obsession and make them cursed with the Hex while your terror radius is transferred to them, itꦚ can help you catไch some other players off-guard. |
Sloppy Butcher |
With the current healing speed builds in the game, it can be hard to keep the Hex for long if you lose the injured Survivor. Sloppy Butcher increases the time you have to find another Survivor since it reduces the cursed Survivor's healing speed massively. |
Forced Penance |
There are plenty of times when you find an injured Survivor and other Healthy Survivors take a hit for them. If you don't have Face The Darkness activated when this happens, the Survivor taking the protection hit will get cursed and broken at the same time. The broken status effect prevents the Survivor from getting healed in any way for 80 seconds. This means that Face The Darkness will stay active for🍒 over 80 seconds. |
Hysteria |
If you've injured a Survivor and activated Face The Darkness, you'll want to leave them and find other Survivors with bad positioning. If these Survivors are injured, Hysteria will also make them Exhausted. This will allow you to get an easy down. |
Perk Synergies With Hubris
Whenever you're stunned by a Survivor with Hubris activated, they get an Exposed status effect for 20 seconds at the maximum level. Hubris also has a 20-second cooldown. The stuns from Decisive Strike, Head On, and flashlight save will also expose the Surv🍰ivors if you have this perk.
While this perk won't give you a lot of value by itself unless you're playing Nurse or Blight, a few synergies can make it a lot better:

To activate Hubris, you have to take a stun from a Survivor, which will mostly be a pallet stun. To ensure that you get value from the perk, you need to make the process of getting stunned and breaking the pallet faster. If you've gotten stunned by a safe pallet, you can break that quicker and chase the Survivor down. Also, if you're stunned by an unsafe pallet, you can ignore it and simply chase the Survivor. |
Spirit Fury |
It's fun when the Survivor gets exposed because they stunned you with a pallet, and the pallet gets destroyed, leaving them with no place to run to. Spirit Fury allows you to do just that after you've kicked two pallets. |
Best Build For The Knight
The Knight has a unique ability ꦍand playstyle, allowing for different perks that are quite good on him. Here is his best build th𝔉at will give you an edge over Survivors:

Whenever a Survivor gets injured by any means, this perk blocks all the pallets within 32 meters of that Survivor's location for 15 seconds. You can use the guards to injure a Survivor, and they won't be able to get distance on you since you won't go in attack cooldown. This forces them to loop in the same area they were injured in, and you won't have to worry about the pallets in this area. |
Sloppy Butcher |
When you're in the summoning form as The Knight, you're going to go at very high speed. This allows you to cover a large area in a short amount of time. If an injured Survivor is healing up far away from y🙈ou, this perk can be used to stop them and their😼 healing progress will go back down. |
A Nurse's Calling |
To support the effect you're going to be expecting with Sloppy Butcher, this perk helps you locate the Survivors healing up nearby. |
Dead Man's Switch |
This is one of the best perks for The Knight because of the effect achieved if you ask a guard to destroy a generator. If any Survivor is working on this generator, they'll be forced off. This will activate Dead Man's Switch on the generator. |
