Here's how to best play Vecna in DBD.

Player Grades are separate from the hidden matchmaking system, so they don't have any effect on who you're matched with in a trial. Once a month, all Survivor and Killer Grades are reset, and you'll earn a Bloodpoint bon♌us depending on what your final grade was. How to earn Emblems and increase your Player Grade can be tricky to figure out, but we'♊ve got you covered!

What Are Emblems?

Online Player Grade showing Player Level, Killer Grade, and Survivor Grade.

There are eight total categories of Emblems:🎉 four for Survivor, four for Killer. These categories revolve around actions that are part of the core 🌱gameplay for Dead By Daylight.

As you perform specific tasks in a match, whether you're playing as a survivor or a killer, a hidden scoring system tallies up your points for each category. At the end of the match, the tally screen will show you what Emblems you earned based on how well you did.

The Emblems you earn in each match go toward your overall Player Grade, which is shared across all survivor and killer characters. The better quali🧸ty Emblem you earn in each quality, the better Player Grade you'll even💟tually get.

The four qualities of Emblems are:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Iridescent

How To Get

Benevolent

Measures ho𝓰w altruistic you and your team are during the match.

  • Unhooking Survivors.
    • Safe hook rescues grants points to all, including bonus points to the one doing the rescue.
    • Unsafe hook rescues will make the survivor doing the rescue lose points.
  • Healing, making the Killer drop a teammate, and taking protection hits, also contribute to your score.

Evader

Measures how welꦰl you can stay away from the Killer, including winning chases.

  • Remain hidden from the Killer.
    • The closer you are to the Killer while unnoticed, the more points you get.
  • Escape a chase without getting hit.
    • The longer the chase, the more points you'll get.
    • If you lose the chase, you'll receive half of the points you would've earned.
  • Successful pallet stuns.

Lightbringer

Measures your level of participation in geneꦍrator repairs.

  • Repairing generators.
  • Taking chase while other Survivors repair generators.
  • Cleansing both dull and hex totems and opening exit gates.

Unbroken

Measures your ability to survive. This E💎mblem has the simplest scoring system of all four Emblems.

  • Escaping a match without being downed will get you Iridescent.
  • Escaping after having been downed or injured will get you Gold.
  • If you die, your score will be based on how long you stayed alive, but the best you can hope for here is Silver.

All Killer Emblems And How To Earn Them

Killer Grade at end of match with Emblems in Dead By Daylight.

As a Killer, you don't have a team to rely on for points - it's just you. And the categories for the Emblems you can earn are exact opposites of what Survivors are trying to achieve.

For example, while a Survivor is trying to earn Evader points and stay away from you, you are trying to find Survivors and keep chases short for the Chaser Emblem.

Take a look at the table below for everything you need to know about how to achieve points towards the four Killer Emblems.

  • The only way to get Iridescent is to have hooked Survivors nine or more times in one match.

Gatekeeper

Measures your ability to keep generators from 🌺being repaired.

  • Damage generators, either yourself or using perks.
  • The longer it takes Survivors to finish repairing the generators, the more points you get.
