Summary
- Here are some popular Killer builds in Dead by Daylight:
- The Doctor: This build focuses on tracking Survivors and making skill checks more difficult. Perks include Hex: Ruin, Unnerving Presence, and Deadlock. It works best for Doctor and Mastermind since their large Terror Radius makes it less useful for Survivors to track you with.
- The Screamer: This meme build uses Face the Darkness and Undying to light up a random totem when a Survivor is injured, causing them to scream periodically. Pair it with Ultimate Weapon to make all Survivors in your Terror Radius scream when you check a locker. This build works best on Killers with secondary objectives that require channeling, like Pig and Pinhead.
In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead by Daylight, the slasher simulator that pits four scrappy Survivors against a relentless Killer, one of the most important determining factors in what a game is going to be like is what perks everyone brings into the Trial, only coming in behind which Killer is picked and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:what map it’s taking place in.

17 Games That Let You ♋Play As A Slasher Villain
Not many horror games let you play as ꦰthe bad guy, but these titles le൲t gamers experience things from the villain's perspective.
As a Killer, perks augment your abilities with all sorts of nasty effects that affect how you interact with Survivors and Generators and, in turn, how they deal with your💎 attempts to sacrifice them. Certain perks are particularly effective when used with other perks, leading to oppressive situations that leave Survivors scrambling and, if you play your cards right, dead.
Updated July 7, 2024 by Chris Padilla: Dead by Daylight is a constantly evolving game, getting new Killers and Survivors (with new Perks!), as well as updates to existing ones that can drastically change how they work. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Veไcna brought some 🐲powerful perks with him, and this one is the strongest. Weave Attunement causes Survivors to drop Survivor items they deplete and reveals the aura of that item and anyone in the vicinity, as wel🥀l as inflicting Oblivious to anyone who picks those items up. W🧸ith Franklin’s Demise, you can cut out the middleman by forcing Survivors to drop their items when hit with a basic attack.
This build is theoretically countered by Distortion, but if you play Killers with their own aura🦋 reading, you burn throu😼gh their tokens quickly.
This combo allows you to watch parts of the map where there are items, which makes it much more difficult for Survivors to mindgame you in loops or even just hide from you. Lethal Pursuer means you keep an eye on them for even longer as well as showing🗹 you their location at the start of the match, just to get the ball rolling.
10 Grim Hooks 🌠

These perks just work well together mechanically, giving potent game delay while slotting into most playstyles. Pain Resonance activates when you place a new Survivor on a Scourge Hook, d🦹amaging the most progressed generator quite a bit and making the Survivors working on it scream.
Once these perks are activated four times each, they’ll cease working for the rest of the match. Choose additional perks focused on prolonging the game (Pop, Ruin + U𓆏ndying), or sh༒ortening chases (Rapid Brutality, Save the Best For Last).
Grim Embrace meanwhile, activaꦑtes when you hook any new Survivor and leave the area, blocking all generators for ten seconds until you hook the last unhooked Survivor. On the last one, generators are instead blocked for 40 seconds and the aura of the Obsession is briefly revealed to you.

A little bit of a meme build, but it’s surprisingly effective, particularly against less experienced Survivors. In mos🥀t Trials, the Terror Radius is a bit of a hindrance, giving away your position to Survivors and giving them time to run or hide.
However, in this build, the Terror Radius 💮is your best friend. Distressing increases the range of your TR, while Unnerving Presence makes skill checks more difficult for anyone in it. Combined with Coulrophobia, healing skill checks get even more difficult, and it takes longer to heal. There are plenty of options for your last perk, like Deadlock for some passive slowdown, or Sloppy Butcher to synergize with Coulrophobia.
This build 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:works best for Mastermind and Doctor, since their large TR means that it’s not as useful for Survivors to track you with, especially on small maps. Also, the Mastermind’s in-built slowdown from Uroboros Infection, and the Doctor’s ability to track Survivors and make skill checks even more difficult, make them uniquely sui⛦ted for this pl🔯aystyle.
8 The Screamer 🗹 ꦕ

Another meme build, but when it works, it’s incredibly frustrating for Survivors. Face the Darkness lights up a random totem when a Survivor is injured and goes out again when🌟 there a﷽re no injured Survivors. While active, it will cause Survivors outside your TR to periodically scream. Undying, of course, protects your totem.
Pair this with Ultimate Weapon, which makes all Survivors in yo🙈ur Terror Radius scream when you check a locker, and you have a recipe to troll Survivors while staying effective. This build works best on Killers with secondary objectives that have to be channeled, mainly Pig and Pinhead for a very important reason: in addition to giving Survivor posi✨tions away, screaming also interrupts actions.
This interaction is particularly devious on those two Killers because those actions take a little time to channel and if interrupted, they have to start over. On Pig, this means you can interrupt their attempts to remove their Reverse Bear Trap, likely getting a head pop. Slightly less lethal and mu🍨ch more frustrating is on Pinhead, who can recover the Box𓄧 and cause back to back chain hunts.

Much like the legendary Hitchcock film, this combination allows birds to terrorize the Survivors. On its own, La🦄nguid touch is already one of the most powerful Exhaus🎐tion-inflicting perks in the game, inflicting Survivors with Exhaustion when they startle a crow. This means no Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, or any other Exhaustion perks until the effect dissipates.

Dead By Daylight: 12 Killer♋ Mistakes To Avoid Making
There are a few things you'll 🍷need to avoid doing if you want to get the upper hand as the killer in Dead By Daylight.
When combined with the otherwise unreliable perk Spies From The Shadows, the latter gives you the relative location of a Survivor who’s temporarily a perk d🌱own, giving you more of an advantage in the chase. This perk works best for agile M1 Killers who can get those second hits in quickly, allowing them to press the advantage of Haste that Rapid Brutality provides.

Healing is one of th💎e strongest tools Survivors have at their disposal, so taking th𓄧at ability away from them — or at least making it difficult to do — is a good way to leave them feeling helpless.
This build utilizes the Sloppy Butcher to leave Survivors Mangled and Hemorrhaged, taking much longer to heal and losing bleeding out healing progress when not healing, which will make them easier to find with A Nurse’s Calling. Coulrophobia makes it even more difficult to heal. Bring Thanatophobia if you think you’ll need some slowdown or if you’re playing as Legion; otherwise, bring Septic Touch to make your healing interruptions harder to escape, and make Survivors less likely to heal each other. Alternativeꦏly, if you want Coulrophobia to have some range, you can run Distressing instead.
This combo is powerful on Legion, since they give out injuries like free candy, though if the Survivors chose to stay injured (unlikely), you’re effectively an M1 Killer. Nurse and Mastermind can also be pretty scary 🅺with this setup, since their strong chases mean that you really don’t want to stay injured, but you🍸r perks will give them no choice.
5 🍌 Reliable Gen Kick Slowdown

This ꦕis a simple build, but one that works on any Killer, especially ones who can spare the time to kick generators. Overcharge ⛄is already strong on its own, given that it not only traps a generator with a difficult skill check, but rapidly regresses that generator if Survivors don’t fall for the trap.

Besಞt Perks For S😼talling The Game As Killer In Dead By Daylight
The 𒁃more you're able to stall a game as the killer in DBD, the bet❀ter chance you have of hooking every survivor.
Of course, it goes well with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Brine, which also regresses the generator. With Eruption, you can end up doing even more damage with the blast for downing a Survivor, as well as showing you the auras of anyone working on that generator. Deadlock allows you to passively slow down Survivors by blocking the next most completed generator after they finish repairing one. If you want to take a more active ro൩le in slowing them down, choose Pop Goes The Weasel, which also adds to the power of your generator kick.

Where🌺as the above build encourages Survivors onto trapped generators, this build does the opposite, discouraging Survivors from stab♉ilizing generators until it’s too late. Unforeseen puts your Terror Radius on the afflicted generator while giving you Undetectable. Combined with Nowhere to Hide, it also gives you the double-whammy of allowing you to sneak up on nearby hiding Survivors.
This build excels on Legion, since their add-on Frank’s Mix Tape allows you to kick generators faster while the aura-reading from Nowhere to Hide negates the ꦜlack of Killer Instinct from stealth for a few seconds after the kick.
Survivors are scared off from the generator with your Terror Radius, which allows Call of Brine to do its work. The last perk is dependent on your tastes, with Overcharge for extra regression and Lethal Pursuer making it even easier to find Survivors💜. The notification from Call of Brine also allows you tꦬo know when a generator is being worked on, possibly so you can defend it. This build works woth most Killers but is especially good on Killers that can travel to generators quickly.
3 Endfury

If you’re sick of eating pallets, especially as M1 Killers, consideღr running this build. Enduring cuts down the pallet stun time, almost rendering it trivial, while Brutﷺal Strength allows you to chew through downed pallets.
Spirit Fury will be what gets you hits, though, as it destroys any pallets that stun you, which, combined with the stun recovery of Enduring, means that your cheeky quarry won't get very far after smashing you. The fourth perk is dependent on the Killer, but consider bringing Sloppy Butcher or some kind of generator slowdown.
If you play your cards right, you can bait out pallet drops without being stunned and then destroy pallets afterward. You don’t want to run this on ranged killers since they can j𓆏ust fling projectiles over pallets or the Nurse because she can just phase through everything.
2 Totem Slowdown 𝓀

This versatile combination ensures that Survivors have a sadistic choice: spend the whole game at a disadvantage (provided you can hook everyone at least once) or waste time doing totems instead of generators. The best par𒆙t is, should they choose the latter, they then have to choose whether they should break your Pentimento totems afterward or deal with one of the best passive slowdowns that Killers have in the game. It’s basically win-win, once you get the ball rolling.

This works with most killers, but Plague and Legion get the best use out of it, since Plague can puke on the totems to make things even worse for Survivors, and both of them are the best users of Thanatophobia, which adds additional slowdown in the mix. For the other Killers, add what feels the best, whether it’s more slowdown, some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:chase helpers, or information perks.
