Wizards of the Coast has finally unveiled the dates we can expect 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dungeons & Dragons’ next big rules revamp, and it mi🅺ght be a slightly longer wait൲ than you were expecting.

While not strictly a Sixth Edition, the 2024 rules revamp is the closest thing to one we’re going to get any time soon. It overhauls everything from how each class plays to the language used in the game, and🦩 has been in public testing for almost two years.

The 2024 revamp wi🤡ll be coming in st🍨ages, with each of the three core books coming one after another.

The first of the books is the 2024 Player’s Handbook, which is due for release on September 17, 2024. This will introduce lots of the changes to classes that have been tested out via Unearthed Arcana, such as the overhaul to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Druids’ Wildshape ability and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:complete retooling of Monks to make them♋ less naff.♏ For most players, this will include by far the biggest changes coming in the revision.

Then, the Dungeon Masters’ Guide is getting its revised edition on November 12, 2024. This release is more focused on accessibility and organisation over the huge number of mechanical changes of the Players’ Handbook. It&♔rsquo;s been restructured to make finding the information you need more efficient and putting the information new DMs need front-and-centre, while also adjusting the language to be more inclusive. It’ll also include its own starter campaign built-in to the book, as a way to teach through play rather than winging it in your first adventure.

Finally, the ꩵMonster Manual. Despite being commonly known as the 2024 revision, this won’t be launching until February 18, 2025. The manual 🌄serves as a bestiary of the most common enemies and creatures you encounter in a campaign, with the revision streamlining stat blocks, and also removing inherent morality from many of its sentient entries. It won’t outright change the challenge rating of any existing monsters, though, so should still be compatible with your ongoing campaigns.

The revisions were first announced in 2022, under the umbrella brand of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:One D&D. That name’s long since been dropped, with the new versions not having their own specific name. They’re still considered the fifth edition rules, with Wizards opting not to call it Sixth Edition, 5.5🌱, or anything else that delineates it as its own version. However, the changes are substantial enough for the community to essentially see these as being different fr🐻om the fifth edition we’ve been playing with since 2014.
