For as long as there has been a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5, players have begged for a remaster of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne. And, for as long as there has been a PlayStation 5, Sony has given those players everything except the one thing they want most badly. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Days Gone, which is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reportedly getting a PS5 remaster, is just the latest example.

Sony Has Remastered And Ported Many Of Its Games. Not Bloodborne.

Bloodborne is an all-time great action RPG that, for more serious Souls players, is compromised by its 30 FPS frame rate. The game's many fans have begged for a PC port so they could play the game at 60 F෴PS, or with an uncapped framerate. Despite Sony having brought several of its PS4 and PS5-era games to the PC, Bloodborne has never made the leap. And, though fans have endlessly requested a remaster, Sony has made no indication t🍸hat it will ever release one.

When the PS5 launched back in 2020, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was one of the first games available. As a bonus for buying the deluxe edition, fans could also get 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, a slightly better version of the PS4 original that, for so💖me reason, replaced Peter Parker's face.

Most recently, an ESRB leak indicated that a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster is coming to PS5 in the💜 near future. Like Spider-Man, Horizon Zero Dawn is a recent game. It's also already available on PS5 with a 4K 60 FPS update. It's an incredibly unnecessary rema☂ster, and a waste of resources that could be going to new games, or remasters of older games that aren't curreꦗntly playable on PS5, or really anything else.

Days Gone Deacon With A Drifter Crossbow

In between t♋hose two titles, Sony has remastered a whole bunch of very recent games, myopically focusing on its recent third-person narrative action titles from Western developers at the expense of all else. The Days Gone remaster represents the apex of this trend. Instead of remastering Bloodborne — one of the best games Sony has ever published, beloved by fans and critics alike — Sony is re♔mastering Days Gone, which launched to middling reviews and never got a sequel because of its poor reception. Both Bloodborne and Days Gone reportedly had , so it's unclear why Sony would opt for the less well-liked game for an unnecessary remaster, rather than the more well-liked game for a necessary remaster.

Why No Love From Sony For Bloodborne On PS5?

The question I'm left with is: why has FromSoftware's massive success not led to Sony giving Bloodborne more love? FromSoftware is bigger than ever in 2024, with Elden Ring only being unseated b✨y Call of Duty for 202☂2 sales numbers. Bloodborne sold well at launch, how much better would it sell now that FromSoftware is among the biggest developers in the world? The game's director Hidetaka Miyazaki has 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:expressed support for a remaster.

Sony has remade FromSoftware's other PlayStation exclusive, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Demon's Souls, and it was even the marquee PS5 exclusive game at the console's launch. So it doesn't seem like Sony and FromSoftware have a bad relationshiཧp. Seriously, what's the hang up? And why are so many mediocre recent games line-jumping an older all-timer?

Only Sony can answer that. And if Days Gone is indeed the next game up for a remaster, 𒀰it seems the publisher has no interest in answering our questions anytime soon.
