Now, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the lawsuits that saw Dark and Darker removed from Steam is moving forward. Dark And Darker's Copyright Explained, And Why It Matters

Dark a🍨nd Darker has b𝓰een accused of asset theft by Nexxon, but the case is far more interesting than that

"Nexon's request for a preliminary injunction against [Ironmace] for trade secret and copyright infringement was denied," writes Dark and Darker developer SDF, speaking in the official Discord server (statement translated from Korean).

"The court found that 'Ironmace's game does not infringe on Nexon's copyrights or trade secrets,' and therefore did not accept the allegations and suspicions that Ironmace used Nexon's trade secrets and infringed on its copyrights to develop Dark and Darker," the statement continues. "The court also found that Nexon's allegations and evidence were not sufficient to shut down Dark and Darker's service."

SDF also adds that Nexon hasn't added its own game, P3, into evidence. This is despite P3 being that game that Ironmace allegedly stole from to create Dark and Darker. Ironmace says it looks forward to P3 being presented in court, explaining, "A full and thorough evidentiary hearing will reveal the truth about the unfairness of Nexon's claims and the innocence of Ironmace."

Nexon's lawsuit against Ironmace in the US was dismissed last year, so the lawsuit in South Korea is the only one that's active right now.

Nexon hasn't commented on this development publicly. In response to TheGamer, a representative of Nexon added, "We consider this an ongoing legal matter and cannot provide any further comment."

Ironmace's statement doesn't explain whether this means the game can be added to Steam once again, but in any case, it's still not available on the platform at the time of writing. Referencing how this will impact the game, Ironmace says, "We will continue to invest and do our best to build Dark and Darker into a solid game that will last for more than a decade."

Dark and ꦡDarker is currently in early access, and can be purchased via its own website or a competitor to St🎉eam, Chaf Games.
