In the basement, you will find two strangers. One of them is locked in a ro♋om and💙 dressed like Lina Malina. Speak to the other one to discover his name is Shank, while the Lina look-a-like is Edgar.

Follow him upstairs to have a private discussion where you learn that his buddy had a BD accident that resulted in him thinking he is Lina Mali﷽na.

That is not Shank's main concern, though. He's more concerned about his struggling store and wants you to get the real Lina down here to shoot a video.

At this point, you can choose between finding the real Lina and bringing her to the store or freeing the guy who thinks he's Lina. Which method you go for significantly alters the rest of ꦏthe quest.

Free The Fake Lina (Path One)

If you want a shorter✨ quest, you can just set the guy who believes himself to be Lina free.

On the surface, this may seem like the more morally righteous decision as you aren't going along with Shank's questionable plan. However, it does mean that you can't fix the Fake Lina's mind. You also miss out on an iconic weapon.

But if you want to do it anyway, then you must find the keycard to his makeshift cell.

Where To Find The Keycard To Open Lina's Cell

If you read the message on the computer behind the counter, you will discover that the keycard was lost near the front door.

So, go outside and turn left to find two pots. The keycard is inside one of them, meaning you have to break them.

For some reason, smashing the pots isn't always easy with either guns or melee attacks. A melee weapon is probably your best bet.

When you smash them enough, you will notice a BD room keycard among the rubble. Pick it up and head back downstairs to open the cell.

Once you do, 'Lina' will offer you a kiss. You can accept or not. Either way, he leaves, and you need to message Mr. Hands to tell him the job is done. That serves as the end of the quest.

Find The Real Lina (Path Two)

If you want to go through with Shank's plan, you must head to Lina's place. But before you do that, head back into the basement of the BD store and go into the cell next to the one Lina is in.

From here, scan the letter on the floor and pick it up. It's a personal letter the fake Lina sent to the real one before this whole situation started. By acquiring it, you can potentially get the best ending of the quest.

Convince Lina To Do The BD

Next, you must go to Lina's residence, which isn't far from your Dogtown hideout.

Guarding the place are a bunch of gang members. You have to persuade them to leave or just kill them all.

Either way, head up the stairs to Lina's place and knock on the door twice. As she doesn't answer, you come to the conclusion that she isn't here. So, you need to sit on the chair near her front door and wait.

Time skips ahead to when she arrives.

Now, this is where things get serious, as you must convince Lina to do your BD movie.

If you tell her the truth about her dead guards or your reasons for needing her, the quest will ﷺfail.

The trick to this is to lie about almost everything. So, if sheജ asks about dead guards, say, "Found them like this."

Then, claim to be a BD scout wanting to make her an offer.

To convince her to do it, you can either pay her 10,000 eddies or tell her she'll be co-starring with Kerry. The latter is only an option if you've completed the I Don't Wanna Hear It job and gotten a picture with Kerry and the Us Cracks.

So, return to the BD store and sit in the director's chair, aka the one facing the shoot.
