The Cyberware in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cyberpunk 2077 can feel like a bit of a letdown. Most of them just make slight modifications to the overall gameplay or can be summarized as simple percentage buffs. That said, the limb 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cyberware and their mods, in particular, are pretty interesting. They can totally change the way you approach combat or provide you with a deadly secondary option for enemies that get up in your f♉ace.
So, let's take a look at some of the best upgrades V can get for their limbs, whether it's the gear itself or the mods slotted into them.
Updated May 18, 2023, by Sean Murray: Cyberarms are still a mainstay of V's arsenal even after Cyberpunk's many updates, so we've updated this guide with a few formatting tweaks for better readability.
All Of The Cyberarms
The Arm Cyberware are the most obvious ones to nab since they make the most impact, both visually and on g𝕴ameplay. Plus, they also feel the most indiv✤idual from each other.
Gorilla Arms |
Great for Melee Builds with their Blunt damܫage and Charge Attacks. |
Mantis Blades |
Fantastic 🧜for Blade builds & Stealth bu𝐆ilds alike. |
Projectile Launch System |
An arm-based rocket launcher𓃲 that lets V pepper enemies with explosives from afar. |
Monowire |
Great for ranged attacks, scales with Street Br✨awler, and it is still quite useful even though its cut feature (hacking into enemies with the wire) was ultimately cut from the final product. |
While it may be obvious that any one of these is an essential upgrade for V, quite a few players have been ignoring them in favor of playing around with the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:different gun types, but don't people know they can do both?
Mantis Blade Rotors
Let's talk about the Rotors players can throw onto their Mantis Blades. These things come in three varieties that all increase Mantis Blade attack speed by a certain amount:
Slow Rotor |
Increases Attack Speed by 20% |
Fast Rotor |
Increases Attack Speed by 35% |
Haming-8 Rotor |
Increases Attack Speed by 45% |
It goes without saying an attack speed buff is a significant improvement for any melee weapon, but 45 percent is a much larger number than anyone was likely expecting, which makes the Haming-8 Rotor the best on the market by ten percent.
You can buy the legendary version of the Haming-8 Rotor from the Ripperdoc in Westbrook's Japantown district, but you'll have to shell out a whopping 7,000 Eddies for the mod.
Gorilla Arms Animals Knuckles
Animal Knuckles are unique, and they're also hard for players to afford early on. But, if players manage to knab these knuckles, their melee build can really start to pack a punch, which makes seღnse considering the Animals are a gang made up entirely of extreme bodybuilders.
Unlike other Gorilla Knuckle Arm mods, Animal Knuckles don't modify the damage to something elemental. Rather, they apply cause bleed on-hit. And, as anyone 🍌with a Blade build knows, the Bleed status🅠 effect is quite powerful.
If you're ready to level up your melee game, you can grab a set of legendary Animal Knuckles at Kravit's Clinic in Westbrook's Charter Hill district for 2,750 Eddies.
Batteries For Gorilla Arms
If you're using Gorilla Arms, you're going to want to look into the Battery mods for Gorilla Arms, so let's go over the different types. Like the Mantis Blade Motors, there are different rarity's of this specific mod and even a unique version, so there are quite a few to choose from.
Low-Capacity Battery (Rare) |
Increases Damage Dealt With Gorilla Arms By 10%. |
Medium-Capacity Battery (Epic) |
Increases Damage Dealt With Gorilla Arms By 25%. |
High-Capacity Battery (Epic) |
Increases Damage Dealt With Gorilla Arms By 50%. |
Black Market Battery (Legendary) |
Increases Damage Dealt With Gorilla Arms By 100%. |
RIN3U Battery (Legendary) |
Restores 100% Stamina After Killing An Enemy. |
All of these batteries are useful, but it's most advantageous to save up for the High-Capacity mod first. The Medium-Capacity is essentially a weaker version 🅰of the High-Capacity for less if you were looking to save a couple of thousand Eddies, and the Low Capacity is barely ♎a buff at all.
The High-Capacity Gorilla Arm Battery is available at the West Wind Estate Ripperdoc for 2,250 Eddies.
Projectile Launch System's Tranquilizer Rounds
The Projectile Launch System is the best Arm Cyberware to equip for players who don't ever get close to enemies. At its core, this Arm-based Rocket Launcher functions the same way having inf☂inite frag grenades would.
There are a ton of mods for this thing that add passive effects or change the elemental type, but the best one by far is the Tranquilizer Rounds. But why is that? Well:
- Unconscious enemies don't wake up again. They're essentially "dead."
- Human enemies immediately pass out when a round hits them and pops.
- The rounds break the balancing of certain bosses and make Cyberpsycho fights a breeze.
- Even the tankiest enemies die in one hit as soon as they're knocked out on the ground.
You can purchase Tranquilizer Rounds from the Heywood Ripperdoc in Wellsprings for 540 Eddies.
Projectile Launch System Plating
There are three different Plating mods for the Projectile Launch System: Neoplastic, Metal, and Titanium. The naming convention might make people think that these three mods have the same effect with ascending levels based on rarity. But, actually, all three have different effects:
Neoplastic Plating |
Increases Crit Chance by 10% |
Metal Plating |
Increases all Resistances by 10% |
Titanium Plating |
Increases Armor by 7% |
Without a doubt, Titanium is the best of the three.
- It's an Epic mod compared to the other two, which are Rare.
- A seven percent increase to 1,000+ Armor Values is pretty substantial.
- Players can get plenty of resistance or crit chance in many different ways; armor is a bit harder to come by.
The Sensory Amplifier That Works On Every Arm
Much like the Plating for the Projectile Launch System, the Sensory Amplifier has a couple of different versions under the same "label" with varying effects. But what's extra unique about this mod is how it can be equipped on any Cyberarm, rather than just being tied to one. Here a🐲re the four possible Sensory Amplifier Acquisitions:
Acquisition |
Boost |
Location |
Crit Chance |
Increases by 10% |
Kabuki's Instant Implants |
Crit Damage |
Increases by 30% |
Finger's M.D in Westbrook's Japantown |
Health |
Increases by 15% |
Japantown's Ripperdoc in Westbrook |
Armor |
Increases by 5% |
Heywood's Ripperdoc in Wellsprings |
Now, which one of these is the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:"best" cyberware to get? It's hard to say since it depends on each player's unique build. But Eddies won't have to influence your decision as each variation costs only three Eddies to buy.
The Two Main Legs Reinforced Tendons And Fortified Ankles
V's Leg Upgrades make some pretty sizeable changes in the moment-to-moment gameplay simply because they give V the ability to traverse Night City in a much more vertical way (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a♈nd horizontal if they use a certain exp🎐loit). There are two "main" Leg Cyberware:
Fortified Ankles |
Allow༒s players to use a charged super-jum♐p by holding down and releasing their jump key. |
Reinforced Tendons |
Gives V the option of a standard double jump. |
The odd thing about these Leg Enhancements is that the Fortified Ankles have a Rare and Epic variation, while the Reinforced Tendons only have o﷽ne version. Because of this, players should probably just save up the 7,500 Edꦍdies and get the Epic Fortified Ankles. These things give V the ability to hover jump, and they also reduce Fall damage by 15 percent, which is pretty sizeable.
Both the Rare and Epic Fortified Ankles are available for purchase at Finger's M.D in Westbrook's Japantown. But you can get the rare versions at Viktor's Clinic, Cassius Ryder's clinic in Northside, and ripperdocs in Watsone and Westbrook.
Lynx Paws
There's actually a third Leg Cyberware for players who aren't all too vertically inclined. The Lynx Paws are perfect for a stealth build. Essentially, these Leg modifications make it so that V is 50 percent quieter 🧸while moving, which is nothing to scoff at - especially with how unobservant the AI in this game seems to be towards players built into the Cool Attribute.
Epic Lynx Paws can be bought from Finger's M.D in Japantown or Kabuki's Instant Implants for an astounding 85,000 Eddies.
Elemental Damage Cyberarm Mods
Lastly, this list isn't complete without addressing the different Elemental Modifiers for each of the Cyberarms. Shockingly, specific elements work better on specific arms, so let's take a look at which element for each and why:
Cyberware |
Elemental Mods |
Reasoning |
Gorilla Arms |
Electric Knuckles & Animals Knuckles |
Electric stuns enemies, whic𝔍h works fantastic with a melee build. Animals♓ because it prompts ble🐼ed on-hit, which is insanely good. |
Mantis Blades |
Anything But Physical Damage |
Most damage types work on the Mantis Blades, but Chemical's most commonly used since Poison pairs well with a stealth build. An Electric Blade has very similar benefits t𒀰o the Elect🦋ric Knuckles. A Thermal Blade puts out some insane damage. |
Projectile Launch System |
Tranquilizer Rounds or Explosive Rounds |
It's by far the most beneficial to break the game by knocking everyone out with Tranquilizer Rounds. Or you can cause gigantic explosions that light groups on fire with the Millitech Explosive Rounds. |
Monowire |
Chemical or Electrical Wire |
The Monowire might seem like the most poorly implemented Cyberarm, but it still has potential. The thing scales with Street Brawler perks, oddly enough, and also gets damage from increases to the Cool Attribute. It has excellent AOE Damage, Charge Attacks, and a surprisingly long reach. As such, it works well with either the Street Brawler or Stealth builds. |
