Update 23/09: CD Projekt Red responded to TheGamer to confirm that it had no official comment on this story. However, a Cyberpunk 2077 developer has since that a previously visible NPC was based on Elon Musk's likeness, so he may not be in the game after all.

Despite this, the gun story has not been denied - for all the good that did Musk. The original story follows.

Billionaire and notorious weirdo 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elon Musk gatecrashed a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cyberpunk 2077 recording session to try and worm his way into the game. This comes from the nꦿew memoir on Musk, which recounts the time he brought an antique gun to the studio, describing himself as "armed, but not dange🎀rous".

Better yet, it was his own partner's recording session that he interrupted. As per his own words in the new book, Grimes was recording her own parts for Cyberpunk 2077 - as she was actually invited to play a part in the game - only for Musk to turn up and "insist" he get a cameo.

"When Grimes was doing the voice recordings for the cyꦿborg pop star she played in the video game Cyberpunk 2077, he showed up at the studio wielding a two-hundred-year-old gun and insisted that they give him a cameo," reads the memoir, written by Walter Isaacson.

"The studio guys were like sweating," says Grim🍌es in the passage. Musk then admits to the whole thing himself, saying he told CDPR staff he was "armed by not dangerous."

Musk also adds that he wanted in on the game because its use of cybernetic implants "hit close to home", referring to his own attempts to create a human brain chip, Neurolink. However, "attempts" is putting it generously, because Neurolink has been said to have 🌳killed 15 monkeys in trials as of February 2022. Which, in fairness, is perfectly in keeping with how corpos operate in Cyberpunk 2077, so it's easy to see why Musk felt right at home. He must've been a bit bummed out when he realised Arasaka were the bad guys, though.

In any case, for all the big talk, Grimes's part in the game was very significant. She played the part of in-game musician Lizzy Wizzy, appearing in her own questline. Her tracks, Delicate Weapon and 4ÆM can also be heard on the in-game radio.
