A lot of it depends on how you play the game, but sometimes, pure goofiness is all that you really need to get that dopamine rush.

13 ಞ 🅺 Fleece Of The Heretics

This fleece comes with the Herꦆetic Pack DLC and has no special effects, much like the Fleece of the Lamb, save perhaps for the feeling of contributing further funds to a game you like.

It’s a decent look, going for a somber yet ostentatious gold-on-black look if you want a different fit from the default outfit. The Fleece of the Lamb is arguably more iconic, but this🦩 is a good alternative if you want a different style without the gameplay alterations the other fleeces provide.

This is the first fleece you start off with in Cult Of The Lamb. You won't need any talisman shards to unlock it, but this fleece has no benefits or penalties attached. It's not the most useful fleece, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to keep your crusades neutral.

The best thing about this fleece is its snappy aesthetic that matches the blood-red clothinꦓg of your cult followers and makes you all look like one big happy family! Well, a happy family that willingly sacrifices itself for your benefit.

It also comes with the downside that whenever you get hit, you spawn a poison puddle that can damage you. Most of the time, the puddle will cost you some damage൩, but if you roll before the poison gauge fills u🃏p, you can actually avoid it. This downside is negated entirely by the Mithridatism Tarot Card.

9 Fleece Of The Glass Cann🦩on 🐬

This sage green fleece grants you double the fervor for half the melee attack power. Fervor is what powers up your curse attacks, which are powerful secondary attacks that you are given at random at the start of each crusade. If you're a fan of ranged combat and prefer to keep your hands clean, this one might be a personal favorite for you.

However, since curses are assigned randomly, and there are infrequent opportunities to swap them out, you could be stuck with less-effective special attacks that you rely on for the duration of your run. If you're a fan of close hand-to-hand combat, you'll definitely want to leave this fleece on the rack until you've collected the other five.

8 God Of Death Fleece ඣ

Likely the last fleece you acquire, your reward for saving all the Bishops in the Relics of the Old Fa💝i♎th update. The God of Death Fleece grants you two Diseased Hearts when you resurrect. It’s...okay, perhaps a little disappointing for when you finally get it. It’s the only fleece with an effect that has no downside, but its effect is a little lackluster.

The extra hearts are nice, essentially granting you four extra hits and four opportunities to damage a whole room of enemies. While that’s good, remember that resurrecting actually does come with a cost, sacrificing one of your followers in the process. Whether this is worth it depends on how much you care for the members of your flock. A neat detail about this fleece is that it's a replica of The One Who Waits, the final boss pre-Relics of the Old Faith.

7 🎉 Golden Fleece

If you consider yourself a cunning fighter who's good at timing their hits, the Golden Fleece might be your thing. When wearing it, your damage to your enemies stacks up with every hit landed; however, you will take double damage if you yourself get hit and will lose all your stacked damage points.

Those who are newer to roguelites should probably put a decent number of hours into the game before unlocking this item, as it serves you best once you're comfortable with the in-game mechanics. If you can predict enemies' moves accurately enough to dodge most of them, however, you'll have plenty of fun with the Golden Fleece.

This effect can’t be mitigated by resurrection, thou💝gh effects that make you temporarily invulnerable are still in play.

This fleece allows you to mow down enemies with ease, with most unshielded non-bosses being one-shot if you use an axe or hammer. Boss life bars are melted by a couple of good hit🐠s. Of course, if you screw up, your crusade is over.

4 Fleece Of Fervor’s Favor 🦩

If you prefer to wield weapons over casting curses, then this fleece is the one for you. The Fleece of Fervor’s Favor allows you to use your fervor to heal yourself at a rate of half a heart per Curse casts’ worth of Fervor. Since hearts spawn rꦕarely and randomly, you’re basically trading the possibility of finding heals in the wild for the ability to heal ♋on command using an existing resource.

This trade is well worth ꦺit, though if you’re doing especially well on a run, you might forget that you’re even using this fleece since if you’re not using it to heal, it doesn’t do much🔯.
