Can your PC run Crysis? Not anymore. Crytek has delisted the original 2007 versionℱ of the game without warning꧂, removing the once-notorious PC benchmark from Steam. The only way to play it now, unless you already own the original, is through the remaster.
Crysis was first delisted in 2021 when the remaster launched, but for the last few years, it was still included in the Maximum Edition bundle, which came with the standalone expansion Warhead. That bundle is no longer availab𒉰le; trying to open the link just defaults you to the Steam homepage.
Thankfully, 🥂you can still buy Warhead separately.
Crytek hasn't explained why it delisted the game from the world's biggest PC storefront, catching the community completely off guard. But there's still a way to buy the 2007 version if you ♔missed out, and what's better, it's DRM-free.
Crysis (2007) Is Still Available On GOG, Despite Being Delisted From Steam
Crysis, set in the far-flung future of... 2019, ouch, is st𝔍ill available for purchase on GOG, the CDPR-owned storefront that prioritises game preservation. , and once you buy it, it's 🃏yours to keep. Even if GOG goes down, so long as you have it downloaded, it's yours: no internet connection or verification required.
It's the only ꦗCrysis game available on the platform, other than the Warhead expansion, so if you're worried about the sequel getting delisted on Steam, now is the time to grab it. Bizarrely, even though it also received a remaster𒅌 (a year later in 2022), it's still available on Valve's storefront, and is even on sale right now at 75 percent off.
If you want the original Crysis 3, though, it has long been delisted from Steam, and the only way to access it right now is via an EA Play subscription. 168澳洲幸运ღ5开奖网:The online server♌s were also taken down in 2023.
While the remasters are functionally the same games, it's disheartening to see them used to pave over the originals, which have their own nostalgic ch💝arm and bustling mod scenes — if you want to experience the trilogy as it was all those years ago, a slice of FPS history that pushed the envelope for PC shooers, it's getting increasingly difficult to do so.
