A Redditor has found a reference to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Critical Role in the popular turn-based RPG 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Darkest Dungeon. Critical Role is a web series where a group ofꦫ well-known voice actors and actresses such as Matt Mercer and Laura Bailey play Dungeons & Dragons, and the series has amassed quite the following since its launch in 2015.

Critical Role is currently in the middle of its second campaign. The first campaign, which began in 2015 and finished in 2017, followed a group of adventurers who eventually came to be known as Vox Machi♓na. Fittingly, the Easter Egg in Darkest Dungeon comes in the form of a party combo with the name Vox Machina.

Reddit user u/WitchDoctor791 noticed the Easter Egg and posted it in the Critical Role subreddit. Party combos in Darkest Dungeon are team compositions that result in the party displaying a unique name; for example, a party made up of an Arbalest, Antiquarian, Abomination, and Hellion will have the name “AAAH!”, which is an acronym made up of the first letter of their titles. In Darke🔯st Du𓄧ngeon, Vox Machina is the party combo name resulting from a team composition of a Hellion in rank one, a Highwayman in rank two, a Jester in rank three, and a Vestal in rank 4.

While far from the entire party, this lineup represents four key players in Critical Role’s Vox Machina: Hellion stands in for Grog Strongjaw, the par꧑ty’s barbarian/fighter, Highwayman stands in for Vax’ildan “Vax” Vessar, a half-elf rogue, Jester stands in for Scalan Shorthalt, a gnome bard played by Sam Reigel, and Vestal stands in for Pike Trickfoot, the party’s gnome cleric.

As Darkest Dungeon was published in 2016, it’s not unreasonable to believe that someone on the development team was a fan of Critical Role and jumped at the chance to sneak in a reference. Perhaps Darkest Dungeon 2, which recently 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:released a teaser trailer and confirmed that the game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:will have 3D character models, will feature a reference to Critical Role's ongoing campaign. The second campaign which fo▨llows a ragtag team of somewhat disreputable adventurers called the Mighty Nein, and some Redditors on WitchDoctor791's thread have hypothesized what a theoretical team lineup for the Mighty Nein would look like.
