If you want to raise animals (that aren't pets) in Core Keeper, you wi🎃ll need to set out and find the cattle yourself. In this guide, we are going to look at exactly how you can do this. This will consist of finding the cattle in the world, as well as how to bring them home to the safety of your base.
What Are Cattle?
Cattle consists of the following animals.
- Moolin
- Bambuck
- Strolly Poly
- Kelpie
- Dodo
These animals all have a baby version that appears when you feed two fully-grown cattle. After feeding the baby version eight times, it will become an adult.
What Do Cattle Produce?
Each type of cattle produces something different. When you feed an animal at least two times, it will produce an item for you. Below, you can check out each cattle ꩵtype, as well as what they produc🤪e and what they eat.

How To Take Cattle Back To Base
With the help of the Livestock Workbench, you can bring cattle home. This crafting station is made at the Basic Workbench with the following materials.
- 8x Wood
- 2x Copper Bar
- 1x Fiber
At the Livestock Workbench, there are two items useful in the transport of cattle; the Leash and Cattle Transport Box. The Leash is used to lead cattle around, but with the Cattle Transport Box, you can essentially capture the cattle and transport them home without worrying about a secure route.
