Coral Island: An image of Dinda and her offered carpentry services

Dinda, Coral Island's resident carpenter, runs a carpentry shop out of her house not far from where your farm is located. You'll need to see Dinda in order to upgrade your house or purchase and build farm buildings, but🐭 she offers ꧂far more than just her construction skills.

Dinda is able to help you rearrange, upgrade, move, and change the style of all of your far🔯m buildings. For a price, of ꦓcourse. Her menu options are as follows:

You can't skip house or farm building upgrades. If you place a coop and want to upgrade it fully, you'll have to upgrade it to each available upgrade level before accessing t🌸he following level. The same goes for upgrading your house.

Moving Your Farm Buildings

Coral Island: An image of a silo being moved in the move building menu

Despite being some of the ♈biggest things you'll ever have to put on your farm, farm buildings are one of the easiest things to move a🌠round.

If you've misplaced your barn, coop, or any other building,𒁃 or if you just don't like how𝔉 the placement breaks up the flow of your farm, don't panic.

You can always head to Dinda at the Carpentry shop and move your building anywhere you'd like on your farm. To get to this option, select the 'Edit farm buildings' option in Dinda's shop menu.

Keep in mind that you can only move your buildings to an unoccupied space, so you'll have to make sure that you've already cleared the📖 locatꦅion where you want to place them.

You can't move buildings that haven't been built yet. You'll have to wa🦩it until t𝐆he building is complete before you can ask Dinda to move it.

Moving farm buildings, while easy for you as a player, isn't so easy for Dinda. She'll charge you a flat rate of 300 coral coins for her moving services.

Unlike Dinda's other carpentry services, however, moving a building happens immediately. You won't have to wait the three or so days that you already waited to build the buildiღng the first time.

Dinda can't move your farmhouse, but she can help you upg🍨rade and change the style of it.

How To Change The Style Of Your Farmhouse

Coral Island: An image of the 'change house style' menu

We get it; sometimes your style tastes change, and som🍸etimes you just really need to give your farm a fresh coat of paint. If you're feeling like your house or 🦄farm buildings are a little lackluster, Dinda can help with that, too!

You can ask Dinda to change the style of your farmhouse and farm♔ buildings any time you want. Like with moving your buildings around the farm, you'll have to pay a flat rate for Dinda's ﷽help.

To change the style of your farmhouse or buildings, Dinda charges 1,000 coral coins. She'll charge this every time you want to change the sty꧃le of your house.

There are five possible style options for your farmhouse and two style options for your farm buildings.

How To Move Artisan Machines

Coral Island: An image of the player character standing in front of a row of artisan machines

Artisan machines can be moved fairly simply. To change the placement of your artisan machines, hit them once with a pickaxe, and they will return to your inventory. You can 🌳now place them anywhere you wish.

You cannot move artisan machines while they are in the process of making an artisan product. If you want to move a machine, you will have to wait until the artisan item is finished before you𒅌 can return the machine to your inventor♐y.

How To Move Sprinklers And Scarecrows

Coral Island: An image of the area of tiles affected by a scarecrow, lit up in green

Sprinklers and Scarecrows operate similarly to one another as both affect a specific tile area. ꦉAs you level the quality of your sprinklers and scarecrows, the affected area will increase.

To remind yourself of the area of a sprinkler or scarecrow, hover your cursor over it and right-click. Right-clicking on each item will highlight the affected area of tiles in green.

You can use this highlighted area to plan the optimal placement of crops on your lot to make sure that no crop goes unwatered ꦑor gets picked off by pesky crows.

Both sprinklers and scarecrows can be moved by hitting them once with a pickaxe. Unlike artisan machines, sprinklers and scarecrows can be moved at any time.

If your sprinklers have anyꦑ attachments on them, you'll need to hit them twice to pick up both the sprinkler and the attac🎶hment.

How To Move Decorations

Coral Island: an image of the shop menu for outdoor decorations

Decorations work just like artisan machines, scarecrows, and sprinklers. Hit your decorations once with a pickaxe to return them to your iꦬnventory and rearrange th🃏em however you please.

Decorations can serve as more than just pretty accessories for your farm. Use outdoor tiles and walls to separate sections of your farm by crop or livestock.

You can also utilize chests and paths to break up empty or uneve🌄n spaces made by scarecrow and sprinkler placement to give your unused spaces some added va𒁏lue.

You can even use decorative floor tiles underneath artisan machines and ꧋structures - ﷺand even underneath trees.

To place tiles underneath artisan machines, simply place the tiles as usual. If the tile does not automatically place itself under the pre-existing machine, you can still pick the machine up, place the floor tile, and replace the machine.

The latter method also works for planting trees. To plant trees on top of a decorative tile like a special grass or path block, first place the tile where you want it to go, and then plant the tree seed as normal. Once the tree grows, it will grow on top of the floor ti🌟le.

You can remove tiles from underneath permanent structures and trees at any time, ❀but once the tile is removed, you won't be able to replace it without destroying or moving and then replacing the structure or tree after the tile has been placed.

Similarly, if you want to place a building on a space with decorative tiles like grass, then you need to place the grass tiles in the space that you want to build or move your building to before placing the actual building itself.

You can🗹 then build or move the building on top of these tiles. Remember, you can remove the tiles easily♕, but replacing them will take extra work.

How To Move Crops And Trees

Coral Island: An image of the player's farm

Crops and trees are the least flexible items to move on your farm. Crops that have already been planted cannot be moved without destroying the crop entirely. Seeds cannot be moved once planted, either.

You will need to be extra cautious about how and where you pl⛦ant your seeds if you want to avoid misplacing them. There's nothing worse than an inefficient or difficult-𒁃to-maneuver farm plot, especially when you don't have all day to manage your crops.

Using the highlighted sprinkler and scarecrow areas to plan y🌳our cropsꦅ ahead of time can be a real game-changer.

If you know you don't have enough money or resources for sprinklers, walls, or scarecrows right now but are planning to buy or craft some later, plan your crop placement wiཧth your futu🍰re placement plan in mind. You can always fill in the sprinkler spots after you've already planted your seeds.

A good time to plan a season's layout is t🐲he last day of the previous season.

After harvesting y📖our very last end-of-season crops, rearrange sprinklers, machines, and scarecrows to make room for the new season's crops. Winter is another great season to experiment with crop placement or building arrangement.

Regular tree seeds (maple seeds, pine cones, and acorns) can be planted and moved immediately so long as the tree has not begun to grow. Once the seed becomes a sap🃏ling, you won't be able to move it.

Fruit trees and produce trees cannot be moved once the seedling is in the ground, and they skip the seeding phase altogether. Placing a produce or fruit tree is alwa🏅ys final. Attempting to move the tree will destroy the crop.

How To Use The Architect Desk

Coral Island: The Player Character In Front Of The Architect Desk

The Architect Desk is the most comprehensive and efficient way to rearrange 🙈your farm in a flash, but it's also the priceiest.

The Architect Desk is an item that you earn upon successfully discovering and freeing all of the Giants in Coral Island. To use the Architect Desk, simply place it on your farm🍸 and enter its menu.

The Architect Desk allows you to ask the Giants for help rearranging every tile, object, and building on your farm.

Rather than paying a flat fee for the service like you would if you were moving buildings at Dinda's, the Giants charge you a fee of 50 Coral Coins per tile. So, the more tiles you want to rearrange, the more money it will cost you to finish moving t𒀰hings.

With this p⛎ricing mechanic in mind, it's worth it to consider what you really need to move using Giant labor and what you can reasonably do y🧜ourself.

If you're okay with spending the extra Coral Coins on Giant power, then the Architect Desk is the way to go. If you're in a financial bind and you just need a few👍 things moved, it's not worth it to use the Architect Desk.
