Meurisse's answer about a follow-up to Expedition 33 was almost cert🌊ainly ambiguous by design. On the other hand, the next game from the studio will likely be grander in scale - hard to imagine how, considering the scale of Expedition 33 - which pote🍒ntially means it will take the same amount of time, if not longer, than Clair to create.

However long it takes, and whether it's a direct follow-up to Clair Obscur or simply a different game made by the same people, we can expect some of what will become Sandfall's signature inclusions from the studio's next game.
