These are known as Chromatic Nevrons, and each one is responsible for multiple Expeditioner deaths. They wait in secluded locations, surrounded by those they've killed in battle, and it's worth it to seek them out: these Nevrons hold powerful treasures. If you want their rewards and to avenge the fallen, you'll have to defeat ♌them in battle.
How To Find The Chromatic Troubadour
The Chromatic Troubadour is located in the Flying Waters, and you'll want to start from the Expedition 48 Flag – also called Lumièran Street if you're Fast Traveling – at the entrance to a large area with several buildings in the center and along the edges.
Go past the left side of the center building until you reach a climbable wall, and climb to the top. Fight or go past the Crueler to an edge with a building across from it, and cross to the other side.
Run around the edge of the balcony covered in red flowers and down around a corner, then use the grapple to cross to the other side again. Go down the pathway, and you'll reach a small arena with the Chromatic Troubadour in the center.
How To Beat The Chromatic Troubadour

- Recommended Weapons: Deminerim or Lighterim (Lune), Abyssram or Lanceram (Gustave), and Brulerum (Maelle)
- Recommended Skills: Healing Light and Rebirth (Lune), Marking Shot (Gustave), Guard Up (Maelle)
The Chromatic Troubadour is a tough boss that focuses on single target damage, and it has two attacks it alternates between: Trumpet Concerto and Tricky Shot.
Between the two, its most dangerous attack is Trumpet Concerto, which is a three-hit combo that does extremely high damage, and can one-shot characters, unless you're far enough in the game to have HP above 700 and high Defense.
The Chromatic Troubadour occasionally gets two turns in a row if you don't strike first in the overworld and will often attack the same person twice if it has those double turns.
Tricky Shot does considerably less damage in its four-hit combo, but can still kill, especially if you have 🅠low🍒er HP.
Start by using Guard Up with Maelle as soon as she gets a turn to help reduce the damage you take, and get Lune to use Ice Lance to slow the Chromatic Troubadour or Immolation to get Burn stacks.
Focus on using either Marking Shot for more damage, or Lumière Assault with Gustave to get Charges for Overcharge quicker, while 168澳洲幸运5开💦奖网:Maelle should get into Virtuose Stance as soon as possible so she can use Percée or Fleuret Fury to do massive damage to the Chromatic Troubadour.
With Lune, focus on using Immolation to get more Burn stacks onto the boss for extra damage in between using Healing Light as needed, but this also depends on who the boss targets most and if she happens to die early.
If you've unlocked Fleuret Fury on Maelle, she can do massive damage once she's in Virtuoso Stance with it and the skill keeps her in that stance for another turn, allowing her to do even more when comboing iꦺt with Percèe if you have the AP left.
Overall, prioritize keeping Lune alive since she's the only one with party-specific healing spells, and then either Maelle or Gustave, depending on who's doing the most damage, while the last character can alternate between doing damage and using items.
As a reward for beating the Chromatic Troubadour, you'll get a hefty chunk of EXP, two Chroma Catalysts, five Colour of Lumina, and the Troubadim weapon for Luna, which already comes at Level Four and gives bonuses for her Free Aim as you level it up.
After the battle, head over to the treasure behind where the boss was, and you'll also find the Energizing Break Pictos, which gives you 14 Speed, a seven percent Critical Rate, and the ability to get three AP after Breaking a target.
