While Monoco has some memorable moments, mostly with his ol' pal Verso, the pair's exchange when they first meet in the game is undoubtedly everyone's favourite. Monoco And Verso's Best Scene Was Not Scripted

Shared by Maxence Cazorla, the voice artist for Esquie and per🔯formance artist for Gustave, Verso, and Renoir, a snippet of the making of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 reveals that the funny exchange between the two wasn't in the original script (thanks, ). "I think one of my favorite parts is there's a scene between Monoco and Verso, and Verso is trying to convince Monoco to join the team," explained lead writer Jennifer Svedberg-Yen.

Director Guillaume Broche narrated the instance, saying, "It was just me doing Monoco and Maxcence doing Verso, and we✱ are waiting for Charlotte to say her line, and, I don't know, we just wanted to gain some time." That's when Broche improv🌟ised with "There will be a lot of fighting, though," after which the hilarious exchange ensues.

"T꧒hese are moments of truth," added Svedberg-Yen. "That moment of improv, to me, is the moment of true camaraderie. The friendship, that dynamic, is real." However, Broche wasn't so deep about it, calling the moment dumb. "It was so dumb, but so cool. Now I think it's one of the most iconic Monoco moments꧙."
