7 🌠 ꩲ The Minor Mission Map Details

Chernobylite: Mission Map Changes

By far one of the most creative details in Chernobylite is the changes to the mission map over time. Unlike other games that give you a static JPG map with some art, here you stare out at a living active world. The idea is that the map is supposed to be tꩲhe real-time view Igor and his friends can see from their bunker and as you progress through the game the ac🥂tions you take will start to be reflected on it.

For example, if you choose to destroy the radar dish, it will appear collapsed on the map, excessively killing NAR will cause helicopter patrols to zip aro❀und above the ℱtrees, and the contamination of crystals from the Reactor will start to grow and spread out of the building. It’s a subtle detail that makes the world feel more alive that can often go unnoticed at first.

6 ꦇ Opening Tarakan’s Safe ﷽

Chernobylite: Tarakans Locked Safe

In Chernobylite, there’s an encounter with Tarakan in a bunker that at first seems likꦓe you can’t complete there and then, but you can. This rugged𝕴 survival expert has found a mysterious locked safe in a trapped bunker and whilst the dialogue implies you need to come back later, you don’t.

After going through the minor-cutscene sequence, Tarakan will tell you that it’s impossible to open, and it’s time to go, but if you look at a nearby wal▨l there will be a hidden switch to press. Doing so will unlock the safe allowing you to get to the important documents inside.

But, there is an easy way to take them down as Ghosts will never leave the buildings they spawn in. So you can simply just stand in the doorway to bait them, move back and then light them up without taking a scratch. This might b🌊e because of a rule in the pathing to stop them from wandering too far, buℱt still, it’s a neat little exploit for easy kills that not many are aware of.

4 Encounte🎶rs With The Woman 🍌In The Red Dress

Chernobylite: The Woman In The Red Dress Playing Her Violin

It can often fee🌱l like you can’t go more than a few steps before encountering something just downright odd or s♓pooky in Chernobylite, but one particular wandering specter that often goes unnoticed is the Woman In The Red Dress.

Implied to be the ghost of Igor's wife, this melancholy phantom serenades you with her violin from a distance before disappearing in an instant the second you look away or get too close. With how quickly her influence flashes in and out of reality, it can be easy to miss her different appearances throughout the abandoned grounds of the city. So if you start to hear violins, stop and have a good look around as you might miss out on something pretty otherworldly.

3 ꧂ Wandering N🐼AR Don’t Need To Be Murdered

Chernobylite: a guard at guardpost hums unaware by some sandbags.

ꦅThe NAR is your main adversary in Chernobylite. These trigger-happy mercenaries wander around Pripyat and are more than happy to open fire on any unfortunate Stalker they catch.

Whilst that may sound like they’re quite the hazard, in reality, they’re often a complete pushover and are more of an annoyance than a threat. It’s incredibly easy to take them out with a stealth kill or a headshot from a pistol, but you may want to hold off on your murder hobo tendencies. Excessively kill𒐪ing NAR will lower your Psyche bar and increase their presence and introduce stronger units making the game that much harder. So if you like the city nice and quiet, try using the non-lethal takedown or just avoid any soldiers you see.

2 There Are Multiple Endings ❀

Chernobylite: Companion Ending Screen

Chernobylite's core concept is that of choice and the actions you take on your journey. Whilst not clear as to why at first, it turns out there are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:multiple endings that you can unlock based on your decisions.

There are three separate endings to get, with a different epilogue playing after each one describing the impact of your decision as well as what happened to the companions that survived to the end. They’re not drastically different from each other and one is just an A or B choice, so try to put more thought into your decisions with certain NPC's in the game.

1 🥃Reloading Saves Can Remove Nearby Items

Chernobylite Picking Up Electronical Parts Resource

Although it’s possibly a bug that might be fixed further down the line, for now, this is something that a lot of people in the community seem to have missed. Although not game-breaking, it can be incredibly frustrating for it to happen, especially if you’re already having a hard time🅘 finding supplies.

For some odd reason, when you save in𝔍 an area that has items around you then reload that save again within a few minutes, the resource🌜s that are around you will just disappear. It doesn’t affect mission-critical objects, but losing out on some rations or ammo can be quite a frustrating setback and make you more cautious about saving too often.
