It’s safe to say that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chernobylite is a pretty odd game. The real irradiated cityscape of Pripyat is a 𓆉strange place already, but The Farm 51 seems to have made it even stranger in their presentation of it.

Similar to how weird and ghostly the wor💫ld is in the Stalker series, exploring in Chernobylite will cause all sorts of oddities to occur, some more explainable than others, but ꦇthere are a few that still are quite the headscratchers. Although the game is not long out of early access and this could easily explain a lot of it with a simple hand wave, there are still some things that make no sense in Chernobylite when you start to think abou🥃t it.

10 Why Does The💃 Lightning Fireꦦ Only Appear Around Igor?

Chernobylite: Lightning Spawned Irradiated Green Fire

When you’re out exploring a particular zone in Chernobylite, there’s an ever-present timer ticking away that you’re not overly aware of. But the longer you’re out there the more unstab🀅le things become.

A radioactive storm will appear on the horizon, green bolts of lightning will criss-cross the▨ sky and after a time will start to hit the ground, leaving green irradiated fire behind. Although oddly they only seem to light fires in a specific circle around Igor despite other bolts clearly landing in the 🦂distance. Although this is probably down to just the way the game is designed, it does feel like you’re being singled out by the weather as a specific target.

9 Why Are There Loot B💟oxes?

Chernobylite: Loot Box Vagrant Vendor

It's safe to say that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Loot Boxes were never a good idea and the sooner they’re phased out, the better. One place you certainܫly wouldn’t expect to see them is in the haunted hellscape of Pripyat, and for some reason, one vendor in particular can’t seem to get enough of♌ them.

Found compl𝔉etely at random in any zone in the game, there is a Vagrant vendor that will sell you Loot Boxes. They’re exactly what you think they are and they also cost food rations to buy. With such a stee♚p price in a game where every resource matters, it’s incredibly weird to see them here. Still, you have to respect the hustle of whatever entrepreneur tries to bring boxes of random junk to sell into an abandoned plot of land filled with monsters, ghosts, lethal radiation, and trigger happy mercenaries.

8 How Is This Food Sti🦂ll Fresh?

Chernobylite: Food Rations Found In Exclusion Zone

Pripyat in real life is doused top t𒀰o bottom in radiation, everything in it is contaminated and there are plenty of horror stories out there of tourists taking home things they fꦯind only to die weeks later from radiation sickness. And yet, every piece of food you find in Chernobylite is not only still edible, but it also looks fresh.

Rations of tomatoes and bread are oddly fine-looking, despite being located in dust-filled abandoned buildings for what were probably months. Plus, even being around an area this close to the reactor accident without being contaminated, or even covered to protect against the🐈 most basic of bacteria just further reinforces the fact that all of the food looking ready to eat just makes no sense at all.

7 🅷 Who Is This Man🌌?

Chernobylite: Unknown Man Chanting Creepily

When you’re out and exploring the large sprawling areas of Chernobylite, you’re going to run into quite a lot of weird and spooky stuff. From a ghostly woman in red to Geiger counter carrying scientists that disintegrate into dust, the city of Pripyat has become quite the haunted hanꦦgout.

One particular specter that will continually crop up and creep you out every time is this unknown man. This 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:really weird video game NPC appears at random locations, but he’s always doing the same thing. 🔯Chanting some odd scripture with a revolver in hand, waiting for you to leave so he can blow his own brains out in a never-ending loop. It’s unn꧂erving every time but he’s never explained and it’s just a sad encounter, still, he does provide free loot every time he dies.

6 🙈 Is Igor Just Rick Sa🌞nchez?

Chernobylite: Portal Gun Crafting Scene

Although it’s a comparison that’s a little cringy to make, there are some similarities between Igor and Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty as they both have similar backstories that are very written in a "don't think about it too much" kind of style.

For example, both lost their wives in a science experiment and both somehow invent portal technology in their garages with little more tꦬhan household scrap and a weird alien crystal. In Chernobylite in particular Igor just rams 🔥the crystal into what looks like a power drill and it somehow just works. It’s a very hand-wavy way of dismissing how he’s able to just build the portal gun and use it like it’s no big deal.

5 How Are Your Companions So 𒐪Calm?

Chernobylite: Oliver In Fractured Realm

Another th❀ing that seems to make no sense is how the different companions found in the game remain so calm and accepting of all the weird science that’s going on around them. They seem to handle being flung into other dimensions against their will or witnessing their leader⛦ rip open a hole in reality like it’s not weird at all.

Although you could argue that them being Stalkers in a bizarro world landscape like Chernobylite has made them more open to seeing and experiencing the stranger side of things. Still, the fact that they handle Igor's dimension-hopping shenanigans like it’s part of the job description is just really odd.

4 Wha𒅌t’s With All The Creepy Dolls in Chernobylite?

Chernobylite: Haunted Doll With Glowing Eyes placed high in room

There’ꦛs been enough horror movies and video games out over the years to finally cement the fact that dolls are incredibly creepy. There’s just something about their cold dead eyes watching you that sends shivers dow🃏n the spine and in Chernobylite those things are everywhere.

Either filling a playpark as they watch you pass by, watching TV with strange shadow ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚcreatures burned into a nearby wall, or just hanging out in rusted-out cars. Although they’re only there to add to the creepy atmosphere, it’s still odd to run into them.

3 🧸 These Base Building Recipes

Chernobylite: Bed And Air Purifier Crafting Recipes

Getting settled and building a base plays a big p𒁃art in Chernobylite, carving out your own little custom space in the junk-filled tower you call home can be quite satisfying. But one thing that doesn’t make sense about it is some of the crafting recipes that it asks for.

RELATED: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gro♐unded: B🐷est Places To Build A Base, Ranked

For example, sleeping bags require mushrooms and 🌊herbs. Even Bear Grylls couldn’t create a bed ou𝄹t of just fungus and some grass, so it’s a really odd request. The same goes for air purifiers as they require again shrooms and herbs but jammed in a box with some random electronic scrap. Despite Igor being a supergenius scientist, it’s still a bit of a stretch to just accept that he’s also the MacGyver of the wasteland.

2 Where Are All T♓he Animals? ♛

Chernobylite: Abandoned Ferris Wheel

You would think having no humans around a large open forested are𒅌a would result in some wildlife in Chernobylite, but the woods are sadly barren of life save the occasional birds in the distance. This doesn’t really make sense when you consider that the game is supposed to be set in the "reꦇal Pripyat".

Why it’s weird is the real-life location is full of all sorts of animals, almost to an uncontrollable extent. Feral dogs roam abandoned houses, bears forage in the forests nearby and there’s even a new breed of radioactive super pig that’s evolved and is already causing an uprising that’s giving local Russian security forces all sorts of problems. When contrasted with how things are in Cherno൲bylite with its silent forests, it becomes just an incredibly odd thing that stands out even more.

1 ꦇ Is Radiation Jus🐷t Magic Now?

Chernobylite: NAR Human Testing Note

If there’s one thin🅰g Chernobylite likes to play fast and loose with, it’s the properties of exposure to radiation. In real life being contaminated with radioactive particles means either a slow death where your skin literally falls off or terminal health problems further down the line.

In Chernobylite though, being irradiated instead gives you superpowers or turns you into a shambling zombie called a Ghost that can communicate telepathically with a hive mind and teleport through a dimens🐽ional rift. Although other games have taken a more magical approach to radiation before, in this grim serious setting it doesn’t make a lot of sense, breaks immersion somewhat, and is tonally dissonant from the rest of the game as you watch Igor open a glowing portal to his base with a magic space gun.
