Before you know, you will have more raw crafting resources in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cassette Beasts than you'll know what to do with. You'll gain them all at such an impressive clip that early-game struggles will be a distant memory. That doesn't, however, stop those early-game struggles from existing.
In the first few hours of the game, it can be quite challenging to deduce where to find large quantities of specific resources, especially wood. We've 'crafted' (ha) this guide to get you on the right track from the get-go as you adjust to your newfound home in New Wirral.
The Cassette Beasts Economy
The residents of New Wirral don't use conventional cash. They certainly don't use credit cards, for that matter. Such a community as Harbourtown thrives on trading resources for various services, and so the different types of resources in the game each function in place of dollars, gold, gil, or whatever else it is you're accustomed to seeing in video games.
NPCs need wood, plastic, pulp, and so forth for their everyday lives. Harbourtown merchants will sell you stickers (equippable attacks for your monsters), curative items, upgrades, and more in exchange for varying quantities of these pivotal things. In time, you will wind up with a large amount of most resources, as they are mainly acquired by battling other Cassette Beasts and their NPC 'trainers'.
The Wood Dilemma
That said, there are two exceptions to the 'you'll have enough, don't worry about it' rule, and one manifests far sooner than the other. It's also the easier one to deal with. Wood may seem scarce at first, and 300 wood is necessary to complete a side quest for an NPC standing at the far eastern edge of Harbourtown. This is one of the very first side quests to become available - you'll see it soon, if you've not yet seen it already.
Here's the trick - don't worry about it overmuch. Wood is necessary for campfires, meaning when you're out exploring and want to heal up your party without returning to the Gramophone Cafe, you'll need some. Prioritize the campfires, and don't even worry about trading away bundles of it for other purposes.
You can put off satisfying the side quest NPC's request for hours and hours until you have an ample running supply of the stuff. All you're postponing, in fact, is the decision to decorate a sign with the 300 wood you've given the fellow - hardly of utmost importance.
The Fused Material Is Hardly Immaterial
On the other hand, there's Fused Material, the most preci🌟ous resource in Cassette Beasts and the only one that will be a bother to collect after the opening hours.
Fused Material is traded to Ranger Wilma at the Ranger HQ in Harbourtown in exchange for many of the game's most important assets. You can increase the number of vital items like Rewinds and Respools carriable at once, you can get a Gym Pass to alter your base stats to your taste, you can enhance the likelihood of successful recordings, and so much😼 more. But it all costs, you guessed it, Fused Material.
In our experience, there are two main ways of acquiring the stuff. First, complete main story and character story quests, which often give you nice tidy helpings of Fused Material as a reward. You'll be doing this regardless, so if you really want more at a given time, just keep at it and hold off on side content.
The other big way is through the fellow standing at the top portion of the Ranger HQ, on its eastern side. After he has you identify five separate Cassette Beasts for him, he will start rewarding you Professor Oak style for inroads in completing your recordings. We missed this until we had 45 captured beasts, at which point he gave us 20 Fused Materials - a whopper, to be sure - but you should expect things at a more even clip if you're keeping on top of it. Still, it's a lot!
