Cartoon Network capitalized on the newfound fixation with the internet, by creating a whole array of its own Flash games, based on the network's characters and shows.

Generally speaking, Flash games were rather simplistic. But simple games can oftentimes be the most addictive and fun. Many of the old Cartoo🌃n 🦋Network games hit that sweet spot that kept fans coming back to their computers over and over again. Here are just a few of the best ones.

More Puzzles Than Layton Could Handle

If you fancied a break from the mindless action of some of the other CN Flash games, this Dexter's 🦂Lab point-and-clicker would have been right up your auto🎶maton's alley. The boy genius finds himself in a bit of a pickle when one of his creations is turned loose throughout the house, so you've got to solve basic environmental puzzles to find it.

There are lashings of Humongous Entertainment and LucasArts in the gameplay, with you triggering cutesy animatiꦫons and engaging in manic pixel-hunting during your quest. The scenes are lavishly drawn and look straight out of the show; and though you can be done in less than ten minutes if you memorise things, it doesn't make the frustration of remembering where to use those damn X-ray glasses any lesser!

16 🌺 Courage The Cowardly Dog: Creep TV

CN Does Analogue Horror

Courage the Cowardly🃏 Dog is fondly remembered for its veering left turns into terrifying territory for a children's show – and while the overall tone remained light and comedic, the 'return the slab' episode is an iconic behind-the-sofa moment for 2000s kids.

It's fitting, then, that Creep TV should be ever so slightly offputting. It's a top-down pixel puzzler, which sees Courage navigating a range of largely deserted environments in his efforts to reach the Creep TV studio. The music is l💝aden with static and in minor key, which only accentuat🐭es the mood... to say nothing of the bit where a demented duck chef attempts to chop you up!

15 Ed, E🏅dd N Eddy: Lunchroom Rumble

Food...Fight!

As ridiculous as it sounds, Lunchroom Rumble could almost be considered a type of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:isometric shooter. It was the classic food fight trope turned into a game - you toss food at enemy NPCs to drop their health while avoiding damage. There are also special Jawbreakers that give your character a unique move🍒.

The computer enemies are surprisingly aggressive for a kids' game - they pile onto your character and bury you in lunch meat. It's a fun game, and it's the only Ed, Edd n Edd👍y flash game that lets you play as almost ever⛦y major character.

14 Powerpuff Girls: All Monsters Attack! 👍

The Rowdyruff Boys Could Never

Flash games that could be played🌠 with friends were some of the best, and Powerpuff Girls: All Monsters A𝓀ttack is one of those games. It's a fighting game that can be played solo or with another player. Players can also decide between playing as rampaging Kaijus or the Powerpuff robot.

It's a simplistic 2D fighting game with surprisingly smooth animation. It was also one of the best-looking flash games out there - ꧒paired with i❀ncredibly satisfying hit sounds. All Monsters Attack is a game you can always replay due to its high quality.

We're All Goin' On A CN Holiday

Summer Resort was a puzzle game that involved talking to dozens of Cartoon Network character🃏s to solve problems and puzzles. CN was no stranger to crossovers, and from Cow and Chicken to Dexter, Summer Resort had many fan favorites roaming around൩.

In the early da𓃲ys of the internet, gaming guides were as unreliable as playground rumors. However, the internet has evolved now, and there's no doubt that there's always someone who knows exactly how to find everything. You'll need that guide to go through S♔ummer Resort if you don't want to search for hours.

12 The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy: Harum Scarum ♓

Scare Up Some Fun

One of the most memorable aspects of Cartoon Network games was the tie-ins. Whenever a show had a noteworthy special or film, CN was ready. For Billy & Mandy's Jacked-Up Halloween special, Harum Scarum was made. Most Flash games set the difficulty level to something kids could handle. Harum Scar♑um ignored that and cranked t♚he difficulty to ten. Nay, eleven.

The action platformer lets you switch betwe🦋en Billy, who used throwing weapons, and Mandy, who used close-combat weapons. Three different Jack-O-Lantern-themed levels were filled to the brim with unforgiving bosses and tough enemies.

11 🐭 ꦅ Ed, Edd N Eddy: To The Eds-treme

Not Particularly Ed-ucational

Nothing screams 'early 2000s' quite like skateboarding Flash games. As usual, Ed Edd 'n Eddy has the tropes covered. To the Eds-treme seems 𝐆like it would stagnate quickly, but it's an addictively fun game filled with𝕴 wild stunts.

With Ed, Edd, and Eddy playable, the goal of the game is to try and rack up the most points by pulling off tricks within a time limit. The ramp was also full of✃ obstacles, and in order to keep that momentum going, players had to do tricks while avoiding the traps laid before them.

10 Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends: A Friend In Need

Unless Your Friend Is A Bratty Girl

Foster's Home For Imaginary Friend's A Friend In Need is similar to hot potato and monkey-i𒊎n-the-middle. Players have to toss Bloo back and fort🍎h between Coco, Eduardo, and Wilt, as a bratty girl tries to abduct Bloo. The goal is to keep her at bay until Mac returns.

However, the girl speeds up over time, making it more difficult to keep her away. The game tries to be a bit more challenging, as players have to ensure that they throw Bloo at the correct trajectory at the pro🔯per time - otherwise, the girl catches him.

9 𝓰 Codename Kids Next Door: S.T.A.R.T.U.P.

S.T.A.R.T.U.P. is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:puzzle platformer with everything one could want from a Codename Kids Next Door game. All five main characters are playable, each with unique abilities and levels tailored to their strengths. It also had an array of bo𒅌sses covering the show's most notorious antagonists.

The only thing that hasn't really aged well is the movement. The characters can feel sluggish♛ as the controls had a habit of lagging. The game is still enjoyable though, and it felt like players were going through an extended episode of the show.

8 Ed, Edd N Eddy: Clash Of The Idiots ♚

Ed, Edd n Eddy seems to have had some of the better of 😼the old Cartoon Network games. It also had the unorthodox games that were really out there (in terms of design). Clash of the Idiots, a strategized fighting game, is one of those games.

Players program in the moves Edd wouꦍld use before the fight even began, and then watch as the choices play out. The goal was to make sure Edd's moves countered his opponent's, and iꦕf he won, players could unlock even more moves that provided a greater complexity to the game.
