But to unlock all of these cosmetic rewards, you'll first need to c𒉰omplete some fairly challenging tasks. This Act requires players to clear Legacy's Fortress, destroy three helicopters, and eliminate a tough final boss. This guide will cover every mission in A3 of MWZ, covering everything from objectives to rewards from completinꦐg each Confrontation mission. We'll also give tips on how to quickly complete each mission.

Tier One Missions

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Act 3 T1 Missions

Mission

Objectives

Two Factor Authentication
  • Complete a Defend Ground Station Contract.
  • Kill 20 mercenaries during the Contract.
  • Maintain the computer's health above 60%.
  • Exfil with the Death Perception recipe.

Tips And Tricks

  • Attempt this in a Low Threat Zone to minimize the mercenaries' damage output.
  • Use Thermite to melt enemy riot shields.
  • Purchase a sentry gun before attempting this.
    • If you have any circuits, activating a nearby turret emplacement will trivialize the defense section.

  • The Death Perception recipe will spawn in the reward cache when you finish the Contract. Be sure to grab it before your team exfils.

Tier Two Missions

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Act 3 T2 Missions

Mission

Firestarter
  • Ignite 50 zombies with Napalm Burst ammo.
  • Ignite 5 special zombies with Napalm Burst ammo.

Ghosted
  • Kill 100 zombies while the Aether Shroud Field Upgrade is active.
  • Kill 20 mercenaries while the Aether Shroud Field Upgrade is active.

Alternate Current
  • Kill 10 mercenaries with the Tesla Storm Field Upgrade.
  • Kill 50 zombies with the Tesla Storm Field Upgrade.

Most Firepower
  • Pack-A-Punch a weapon to Level III.
  • Kill 100 zombies with a Level 3 PAP weapon.
  • Kill a Mega Abomination with a Level 3 PAP weapon.

Paint The Target
  • Kill 20 mercenaries with Precision Airstrikes.
  • Hit a mercenary convoy with a Precision Airstrike.
  • Hit a mercenary camp with a Precision Airstrike.

Crash And Burn
  • Shoot down 3 enemy helicopters.

Tips And Tricks

  • Firestarter: Bounty Contracts will always mark special zombies as HVTs. For zombie kills, run Outlast or Escort Contracts.
  • Ghosted: Start the Defend Ground Station Contract to quickly farm mercenary kills. A Pack-A-Punched RGL-80 is a good weapon for this.
  • Alternate Current: Try this mission while in a group. Stay near your allies to create chain lightning while the Field Upgrade is active.
  • Most Firepower: You may only Pack-A-Punch a weapon to T3 inside the High Threat Zone. Doing so costs 15,000 Essence.
  • Paint the Target: Precision Airstrikes may be purchased from shops in the High Threat Zone.
  • Crash and Burn: An enemy helicopter will always spawn during Cargo Contracts.

Tier Three Missions

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Act 3 T3 Missions

Mission

Objectives

Storm The Castle
  • Complete a mercenary camp.
  • Clear a mercenary stronghold.
  • Defeat a Warlord.
  • Collect Strauss's research.

Tips And Tricks

  • The mercenary camp will have a chest that contains a stronghold keycard.
  • Use the stronghold keycard to enter a mercenary stronghold. They're visible on your map.
  • Crack open the safe inside the stronghold to obtain a Legacy's Fortress keycard.
  • Enter Legacy's Fortress in map quadrant D2. The central building houses a Warlord boss.
    • They're fairly tough, so be sure to bring some friends or a T3 PAP weapon.

  • Strauss's research will drop from the dead Warlord.

Tier Four Missions

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Act 3 T4 Missions

Closing Time
  • Enter the Aether Storm.
  • Kill 50 zombies inside the Aether Storm.
  • Defeat Stormcaller inside the Aether Storm.

Spring Cleaning
  • Clear an infested stronghold in the High Threat Zone.

Holdout
  • Complete an Outlast Contract.
  • Kill 50 zombies inside the corrupted space.
  • Exfil with the Wunderwaffe DG-2 plans.

Tips And Tricks

  • Closing Time: The Stormcaller boss is a stronger variant of the Disciple. It is highly vulnerable to electricity damage.
  • Spring Cleaning: Use Cymbal Monkey Bombs or the LT53 Kazimir to temporarily distract zombies while you break the cysts.
    • Death Perception lets you see the cysts through walls.

  • Holdout: The Wunderwaffe DG-2 plans will spawn in the reward cache once the Contract is complete.
