How To Catch Every Bugsnax In Sugarpine Woods

Bugsnax Sugarpine Woods Snakgrappler

It's quite easy to get all of the snax in this location, and it's very good at teaching you how to use your two new tools practically - the Snakgrappler and the Trip Shot.

You'll need the following tools to be able to get all Bugsnax here:

  • Sauce Slinger
    • Some snax can make do with peanut butter, but chocolate is better in this area. You can get chocolate in Simmering Springs.
  • Lunchpad
  • Snakgrappler
  • Trip Shot

It's possible to get the Trip Shot before you're supposed to. To do this, use the powerful Lunchpad to get up to the top of the wooden tower. 🐻Before you get the quest to unlock the Trip Shot, you will be blocked from it by a wooden beam.

The thing is, it's possible to grab the Trip Shot with your recently acquired Snakgrappler through the gap in the walls! Snorpy will eve♊n acknowledge this when you return to him.

How To Catch

Bugsnax Kwookie

Kwookie

There are two Kwookies scuttling about the area, one of them very near the entrance. They run in large loops that you can see after you scan one.

You'll need to knock a Kwookie out of its path to catch it. To do this, stun it with a well-placed Trip Shot. Scan the snak to see its route.

Bugsnax Charmallow

Charmallow

Charmallows can be found flying lazily around at night. There are two near the entrance, one🍃 flying over the pond to the right and one flying above the Big Bopsicle on the left. Anoth✱er one can be found on the upper level.

The best way to cool down the flaming Charmallow is to get it to touch a Big Bopsicle. This is easily done by covering the icy snak in chocolate sauce. When the Charmallow makes contact, it'll be dazed enough to grab with the Bug Net.

Bugsnax Cinnasnail

Cinnasnail

Ther𒁃e are a few Cinnasnails dotted around the area. There are ꦗtwo to the left of the entrance, hanging out on the wall, and one can be found on a distant rock from the basketball court.

The Cinnasnail to the left can be lured into a Snak Trap with chocolate, but the others can only be caught by sending your Snak Trap over into their path with the Lunchpad. The full trap can then be snatched back with the Snakgra🌜ppler.

Bugsnax Hunnabee

Hunnabee

Trios of Hunnabees can be found in the air during the daytime. They're very vocal, and one of the groups is right by the entrance to the area.

Using the Lunchpad, launch your Snak Trap up at a Hunnabee and trigger it midair to catch it. When aiming your Lunchpad, the targe🎀ting line will turn blue once it has locked onto the🉐 Hunnabee.

Bugsnax Sprinklepede

Sprinklepede

A solitary Sprinklepede can be found on the lookout tower at꧅ the back of the area, near the entrance to💎 Frosted Peak.

If you shoot the Sprinklepede with any sauce it'll get startled and fall off the tower. Then, it'll start speeding down its long patrol around Sugarpine Woods. To catch it easily, set up a Trip Shot wire that reaches from the wooden post of the tower to the cliff opposite. Next, shoot the snak with sauce. If done correctly, it should walk into the Trip Shot immediately, ready to be picked up. Otherwise, you'll have to place the Trip Shot elsewhere in its path and wait for it to come back around.

Bugsnax Yellow Peelbug and Buggy Ball

Yellow Peelbug

These Peelbugs can be found in the few tunnels found in the area.

Use the Buggy Ball to flush a Yellow Peelbug out of its hiding spot. The tunnels are very long in Sugarpine Woodsꩲ, so make sure you keep an eye on the direction your Buggy Ball icon moves and get to the other end quickly to place your Snak Trap.

Bugsnax Bopsicle

Bopsicle

Two Bopsicles are created when a Big Bopsicle breaks apart.

To catch a Bopsicle, you'll need to put it out first. Use a Charmallow, luring it to the Bopsicle with chocolate sauce. This should put the snak out and stun it at t🌠he same time.

Bugsnax Big Bopsicle

Big Bopsicle

You can find a Big Bopsicleౠ in the recess to the left of the entrance of the area. There is a second one found on the upper level.

You'll have to do some setup to catch a Big Bopsicle, as it's a time-sensitive activity. First, set up a Trip Shot in a way that allows you to circle around it while also being able to lure a snak through it. Once that's done, get a Charmallow to melt the Big Bopsicle by covering the latter in chocolate.

You'll only have a few seconds to lure the angry, melting Big Bopsicle into your trip shot, which should stun it. When stunned, 𒆙get it with your Bug Net.

Bugsnax Rainbow Sweetiefly

Rainbow Sweetiefly

There are two Rainbow Sweetieflies. The first circles around the area to the right of Sugarpine Woods's entrance and the second can be found in the basketball court.

Sweetieflies can only be caught when they are resting but will escape too quickly if you place your Snak Trap down near them. Instead, you need to launch your Snak Trap at a sleeping Sweetiefly from far away using a Lunchpad.

If the trap nears them when they're still awake, they'll flee.

Bugsnax Nutty Snakpod

Nutty Snakpod

There are five Nutty Snakpods in the area, and they will only respawn once you🌺 have found all five:

  • On top of Snorpy's cabin.
  • On the back of Chandlo's basketball hoop.
  • Inside the small cave to the right of the pond, you'll need to use the Snakgrappler to remove the rocks.
  • Attached to a rock in the thicket of trees near the cliffside to the right.
  • Attached to a rock next to the pond on the upper level of the area.

Snakpods are stationary creatures. Just scoop them up 💟with the Bug Net or use the Snakgrappler if they are out of reach.
