Some video games attempt to be one-note, while some attempt to blend genres and mechanics. What's truly unique about all of this, however, is that the weapons in Boyfriend Dungeon are also dateable. As in, the weapons are actually romanceable characters who can also... turn into weapons? Or something? Look, the details aren't that important. What is important is that there are nine weapons in Boyfriend Dungeon, and here, we'll do our best to rank them all.

It's also important to keep in mind that there is no true 'best' weapon for everyone; it depends on your personal play style.
9 🌌 Axe (Jonah)
This is nothing against Jonah personally. He seems like a nice enough guy. In fact, one of only two things he's listed by the game as disliking is insensitivity. But Jonah's entire presentation, both as a character and as a weapon, is just a bit boring in comparison to some of the larger-than-life weapons that exist in Boyfriend Simulator.
With the appearance of the quintessential surfer dude, Jonah actually has a bit more depth to his character-specific traits than you might expect, with a fondness for being alone more than hanging out with his other surfer dude buddies. As for his weapon... well, it's an axe. You'll find that weapon in just about every RPG you play, and even the nature-based appearance with the wooden handle isn't nearly enough to make it feel unique.
8 Hammer (Leah) ♛ 🌱
You can pretty much put Jonah the axe and Leah the hammer in the same category. Leah really does seem nice. But... the giant hammer trope in video games is, well, exactly that. It's a trope, at this point. Nothing really new or fresh is being brought to the table.
This doesn't make Leah the hammer a bad weapon or a bad character, just one that doesn't really stand out. And when you have options that are more fun and more unique when combat mechanics aren't a huge factor, well, you don't really have much of a case to place higher on the list.
7 🌸 🦩 Talwar (Sunder)
With Sunder, 🐷what you see is essentially what you get. The club owner has five gifts that he loves, all of which are alcohol. Nothing else makes his list of loved gifts or even liked gifts, or even reject💧ed gifts. Give me a little bit of depth here, Sunder!
That lack of subtlety extends to his weapon as well. The Talwar looks cool, admittedly, and matches Sunder's casual pirate aesthetic. Relative to the other weapons in Boyfriend Dungeon, it's not quite as thrilling. Nothing really flashy or special, just a sword. The Talwar is easy to use and get's the job done, but it's also a safe choice.
6 Dagger (Val🧸eria)
Valeria the dagger gets a boost here in the rankings for the simple fact of uniqueness in weapon appearance. While the overwhelming majority of weapons in Boyfriend Dungeo﷽n are swords, or at least, sword-like things, Valeria is a dagger. Kind of like a mini-sword.
Again, most of these weapons fight the same at the end of the day. So there won't be any real shift in how you play the game from weapon to weapon. However, the dagger at least looks like it should make you approach the game in a different style. And that's gotta count for something here.
5 ꦺ Glaive (Sawyer)
What makes the Glaive stand out a bit more than the others is that it looks like a sword ripped straight from a video game. On the surface, maybe that isn't that cool-- but Sawyer is a noted video game fan in Boyfriend Dungeon, and making them a weapon with a unique feel that also matches their love of video games is pretty neat, admittedly.
Although, that's kind of where the fun little design perks end. Other than that, the glaive is just another weapon with a somewhat unique appearance.
4 Estoc (Isaac) ♈ ಌ
Isaac, or, the estoc, is about as close to perfect as you can have for a beginner weapon/person. Classy in appearance and kind in nature, Isaac's calming demeanor and warm disposition are enough to make up for the estoc itself being a little bit boring in appearance.
And to be clear, both Isaac and estoc do get bonus points for class. The shiny, silver blade and the black handle are about as classic as you can get for appearance, which does also match Isaac's suave personality (bonus points for linking the visuals with the character traits as well), but when you have Leah as a gaudy hammer and Sawyer as a sword that looks straight from Breath of the Wild, you will lose some points for not being a bit more extravagant.
3 𓆏 🐽 Scythe (Rowan)
Fellas, Rowan has a bird on their shoulder in human form. How cool is that? In a game like Boyfriend Dungeon, one that isn't quite like other RPG's in that there aren't mountains of stats to pour over in order to find the best weapon, appearance and unique qualities are going to carry you far in a ranked list-- and Rowan's bird is lovable enough to take them toward the top.
Rowan also gets bonus points for being a scythe, about the most on-brand weapon for Rowan's disposition.
2 ജ Brass Knuckles (Pocket)
As far as weapons and characters in Boyfriend Dungeon are concerned, Pocket, or, the brass knuckles, are unique in both aspects. While every weapon is un♈ique in its presentation and appearance, every one of them can essentially be boiled down to a bladed melee weapon with a handle, with the exception of the brass knuckles.
And while every character is similarly unique, every one of them is, well, a person, with the exception of pocket, a cat. Pocket is for the player who wants to have a un▨ique time while showing off their love of furry feline friends.
1 Lasersaber (Seven) 💞
Come on. How could a weapon called the lasersaber not be at least in the top three? This weapon breaks away from the semi-unique weapon presentations and shifts completely into the one that is unique to the game of Boyfriend Dungeon. And Seven's Lasersaber, well, has a laser instead of a blade.
If that weren't enough, the character of Seven is also among the most appreciative when it comes to gift-giving. He will accept anything from sword cufflinks to fried mackerel as a loved gift. All around, Seven, or the lasersaber, has a lot of love.
