168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Borderlands 4 and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2 have both been mentioned on a developer's LinkedIn page. This suggests both games are in the works, yet to be officially revealed.
This comes from the LinkedIn page of Randel Reiss, a former studio technical director at Lost Boys Interactive, which has supported game development over at Gearbox. During his time at the studio, Reiss says he worked on both Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2, both developed in Unreal Engine 4. The reference is still on Reiss' page at the time of writing, appearing alongside other titles that have already launched, like the first Tiny Tina game.
While it's been previously indicated that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:both sequels are in the works, this is a pretty clear sign that development is still going ahead amidst behind-the-scenes issues at Gearbox. Neither game has been officially unveiled, however, and it's not clear when they will be.
According to the LinkedIn page (as spotted by ), Reiss left Lost Boys Interactive in July 2022. This means that the sequels must have been in active development at this point if they're getting a mention on the page. If true, this means we might get an announcement sooner rather than later, since it indicates that Gearbox has had something cooking for fans over the past year.
The first Tiny Tina's Wonderlands game launched last year, on March 25, 2022. Borderlands 3 launched on September 13, 2019.
If Gearbox is planning to make a reveal by the end of the year, then 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Game Awards is the next likely opportunity. That's set for December 7, so that might mark the official announcement for one or both of these titles.
But as mentioned previously, Gearbox doesn't seem to be in a good state right now. Its owner, Embracer Group, can't stop laying off workers recently, raising the issue of job security at Gearbox. Then, there are the that Embracer Group is looking to sell Gearbox as a whole, making the studios' future incredibly uncertain. Still, the show must go on, so it makes sense that Gearbox has had something in the works during this time, especially since it's been four years since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Borderlands 3 launched.
We'll have to wait and see if anything comes of this. Given that it seems Reiss hasn't been with the Gearbox support studio for over a year, we can only hope that these supposed projects haven't been cancelled. Embracer is making some pretty devastating moves right now, after all, so we don't know for sure if these sequels still exist, if they ever did in the first place. In any case, neither party has commented on this apparent leak.
