The Lost Treasure quest provides a pretty easy way of acquiring a good weapon, money, 💯and experience. However, there are certain things🧸 you need to do to find the Lost Treasure, and this guide will tell you how to do so.

How To Start The Lost Treasure Quest In Borderlands 2

To begin The Lost Treasure, you must complete the Toil and Trouble quest, which is part of the main quest. The game also recommends that you are level 26 or higher since you’ll be fighting b♔andits and wil⛦dlife.
The Lost Treasure quest itself can be started by finding an ECHO recording within a box in Sawtooth Cauldron. Pick up the recording to hear about a treasure nearby that’s just waiting for someone to claim it. However, you will need to obtain a map showing its location before you can find it.
Obtaining The Map Pieces
There are four map pieces you need to find, with each map piece randomly spawning after killing bandits. Once all pieces are collected, head to the Caustic Caverns, where the treasure is found.

Navigating The Caustic Caverns

To get the Lost treasure, you must activate four switches to reach the top of a facility in the Caustic Caverns. The switches 🐻themselves are found in and around th𝓀e caverns.
They can also be flipped in any order, so there isn't a specific way to flip them.

With the switches activated, you can now take the elevator between the Nether Hive and Rumbling Shore to the Varkid Ramparts above. Keep moving until you reach a hatch in the upper reaches of the area where you can find a switch inside. Pull it to get the Lost Treasure inside a red Dahl chest.
Rewards For Completing The Lost Treasure
