With the Pump Room you'll be able to get into another area of the basement, get to the bottom of the underground re༒servoir, and more. Follow along as we show you how to use all the pipes and levers in the Pump Room.

What Does The Pump Room Do?

Before you can learn how to use the Pump Room, you first need to understand why you need it. The Pump Room controls the water for six other areas of the house.

These areas and the effects the Pump Room has on them include:

• Fountain: Drain it to access another part of the basement. You can also drain it part way to retrieve any coins you've tossed into the fountain to make a wish.
• Reservoir: Drain it to access the locked chests at the bottom.
• Greenhouse: Turns off the sprinklers, which makes the Special Gem Flowers go away.
• Kitchen: Turns off the sink faucet, so you won't be able to refill the watering can.
• Pool: Drain the pool, which sometimes gives you access to rewards at the bottom.
• Aquarium: Empties the tanks in the Aquarium.

If you buy the Swim Trunks from the Mount Holly Gift Shop, e♕very time you🐷 draft the Pool, there will be two chests in it. You can only access these chests if the Pool is drained.

How To Unlock The Pump Room

The only way to add the Pump Room to your drafting pool for the day is to draft the Pool, which also unlocks the Sauna and Locker Room. Than𒉰kfully, The Pool only costs▨ one gem, and then the Pump Room doesn't cost any.

How To Use The Pump Room

When you start messing with the different levers, it's important to understand the capacity of the tanks, which pipes go to which tank, which pump you need to use when, and h🌄ow many units of water are ෴in each area.

On the wall next to one of the doors is a map of the pipes and pumps in the Pump Room, which shows you where each one can empty to.

Tank one and two each hold four units each, so it's a matte♔r of counting how many you need to drain or fill to get ♔your desired result.

To control the water for a specific area, first press the button on the control panel for the one you want.

Next, find which pipe feeds that area. For example, if you're emptying the Pool, you're looking for pipe number six. When you look at the chart, pipe six is controlled by pump four.

With the Pool selected on the control panel, move the switch on the pump away from you to drain the Pool, or toward you to fill it.

Now, because the Pool has nine units and tank one only holds four, to completely drain the pool, you'll need to empty the tank into one of the other areas to make room. Follow this same process for the other areas as wel💛l.

Since the Fountain and Reservoir hold the most units, as long as you don't need either of those areas, they are good for holding extra water when you need to drain the Pool.

Between tanks one and two is a lever that you can use to switch between them. T൩his only w♌orks for the Fountain and the Reservoir, since they feed into both tanks.

Reserve Tank

The Reserve Tank can be used to hold extra water, making it easier to drain and fill the Reservoir underground. You'll need to have the Boiler Room powered up and connected to the Pump Room in order to use the Reserve Tank.

Unlike tanks one and two, the Reserve Tank holds six units. The control panel for the Reserve Tank is to the left of the main control panel. On it, you'll see two buttons, one to drain tank one, and the other to fill tank one. Simply press the button for whichever action you need.
