How To Activate The Boiler Room

To power up the machine in the Blue Prince Laboratory, you first need to activate the Boiler Room. Your main goal here is to direct steam from the green tanks up to the central control panel up high. The Boiler R📖oom has two floors. Here’s what🍸 you’ll find:

Once the green tanks are activated, yo💞u’ll notice steam fuming from them.

Step 1 - Activate The Green Tanks On The Ground Floor

As soon as you enter the Boiler Room, you’ll notice two green steam tanks. One has its valve in the open, so activate it. Now that steam is flowing from the first tank, rotate the I-shaped red pipe into a vertical position. This should connect the tank to the pipe leading toward the Y-shaped red pi♋pe.

Next, rotate the Y-shaped red pipe so that:

• One end connects to the pipe with the I-shaped section.
• One end connects to the conveyor belt.
• One end connects to the pipe in the corner of the room, which is linked to the door on the upper floor.

This will get the conveyor belt moving. The second tank’s valve is hidden behind said conveyor. When you see the second tank’s valve appear between the conveyor’s gaps, cut off the steam fueling the conveyor by either deactivating the active tank or rotating one of the two red pipes. Once the steam is cut off, you can turn the valve.

Step 2 - Activate The Elevator

Return to the I-shaped red pipe and rotate it horizontally so that it connects to the pipe leading to the blu🍷e box near 𓄧the elevator.

Next, head to the blue switch located between the two green tanks, opposite the two red rotatable pipes. Flip the switch to redirect the steam, allowing it to flow through the newly established pipeline and power theꦫ elevator.

Step 3 - Activate The Third Green Tank

Take the elevator to the upper floor. You’ll be in the middle of two paths: The one on the left leads you to the central control panel. The one to the right leads you toward the final green tank. Activate its valve. On the left side of the green tank, there’s the second blue switch. Flip𝓡 it to lea💞d the steam toward the central machine.

At the end of the path, you’ll see a rusty switch. Flip it to open the door nearby, it’ll come in han𒐪dy later.

Step 4 - Connect The Pipes

Take the elevator to the lower floor ♏and rotate the I-shaped red pipe vertically. Move to the Y-shaped red pipe, rotate it so that:

• One end connects to the pipe with the I-shaped section.
• One end connects to the central control machine.
• One end connects to the pipe in the corner of the room, which runs along the wall and meets a blue box. The indicator on the box will glow blue once it's properly connected.

Doing so opens the bridge, connecting one side of the upper floor to the other, where the barr💎ed door was. It’s now open since yꦯou unlocked it by flipping the rusty switch earlier.

To begin, take the numbers from the code sheet in order and match them to the atomic symbols on the complete periodic table. This will reveal a hint: PuSHThReEuPaFTeRnINe, which means “Push three up after nine.” Use this order to flip the levers on the Laboratory machine. Flip the #9 lever up, then flip the #3 lever.

A cutscene will play, and you’ll receive the Blackbridge Grotto as a Permanent Addition.
