Each town and city provides something unique and important , but some of them are much more enjoyable or cool to hang around in for a while. Here are the best cities and regions across the main Pokémon games.

10 Malie City 🐷 ꦓ

The cities in Alola are all steeped in rich and historic culture. For a region based on Hawaii, players can expect to see beaches and resorts. But, some cities in 🔯the region offer something distinctly different. Take, for example, Malie City, located🌳 on Ula'ula Island.

This seaside settlement is rich with culture inspired by the Johto region, but it stands on its own as well. The architecture and shops are based heavily on East Asian traditions and design, withဣ high-end sushi shops, a large, beautiful library, and a breathtaking garden full of🌸 gazebos and flowers.

9 Floaroma

Towns and cities in the Pokémon univ🐎erse do not need to be large, sprawling, or complex to be wonderful. A perfect demonstration for this is found in Sinnoh, where players will venture upon Floaroma Town early in the game.

This quaint little village is lush wဣith colorﷺful flowers and gardens. The alluring aroma brings in visitors from all over. It's said that the diverse array of flora is the result of a blessing from the mythical Pokémon Shaymin. It's a simple design but a beautiful one.

8 ൩ Mauville City (ORAS)

In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, much has changed. There are new mechanics and Pokémon, updated graphics and dialogue, and changes to the overall geography of the Hoenn region. Perhaps the most jarring change is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the updated version of Mauville City.

In the original Ruby and Sapphire, Mauville is a small town with a route straight through it. It's mostly unremarkable, save for the game corner and bike shop. But, in the remakes, Mauville is given a massive update. It's now a huge walled city with countless things to do and see, including a battle institute, unique shops🏅, move tutors, a huge apartment building, and m🌞ore.

7 Lavender Town ♊

This small, allegedly haunted town in the Kanto region is perhaps one of the most famous locations to the wider world of non-Pokémon fans. It was a long-rumored fan myth that the music🅘 of Lavender T💦own was so haunting and terrible that it would trigger suicidal tendencies in Japanese children. Additionally, in the original Red and Blue games, it's al🧸so believed that the player kills their rival's Ratticate and he ventures to Lavender Town to bury it.

Regard😼less of this horrific rumor, the town itself is extremely well-designed. The creepiness of the atmosphere, the tower filled with ghosts, psychics, and graves, the eerie music — it's all great.

6 ✱ Fortree City 💝

Fortree City in Ruby & Sapphire

When you're a kid, is there anything more appealing than a treehouse? Living among the canopy of the forest is a killer idea that 🀅every kid only dreamed of. Those lucky enough to have a treehouse knew it was jusౠt superb.

If this a fantasy you've always wanted to live out, then Fortree City in the Hoenn region is for you. This town is almost entirely nestled in the treetops of the forest. The design and color schem🏅e is fantastic and the rope plank bridges between the houses are a fun path from platform to platform.

5 Nimbasa

Pokémon Black and White are widely regardeꦉd for their great music. There's something special about many of the citie꧒s in the Unova region and their soundtracks, each of which is an endlessly-danceable track. Nimbasa's music has to be one of the best of the best in this regard.

But, this isn't all that makes Nimbasa great. A city based on entertainment, Nimbasa is home to a theatre, stadium amusement park, large Ferris Wheel, and a ton of flashing neon lights. Even the gym here, with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:leader Elesa, is based on rollercoaster tracks.

4 Wyndon

Game Freak and the people behind Pokémon city designs really went all-in on the Galar region. Many cities and town൲s in Generation VIII are fantastic with extremely unique designs that stand out from each other very well. But, the best of them has to be Wyndon.

The final city that players will find in Sword and Shield, this large metropolis ♋is home to the Championship stadium, rows of shops, a large central fountain, beautiful cana☂ls, a large park, and incredibly-distinct architecture at every turn. The large monorail that cuts around the skyline and skyscraping Rose Tower each add something special, too.

3 Goldenrod

Once the largest city, this Johto metropolis is a staple of any player's Pokémon experience. Here, many things can be found. The original radio tower is a fantastic quest when playing Gold and Silver, giving you the chance to help take down Team Rocket and unlocking almost the rest of the Johto r🧸egion as a result.

Players will also find the infamous 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gym Leader Whitney in Goldenrod, equipped with her terrifying Miltank. Goldenrod is also home to the bi🍨ke shop, the game corner, a large department store, the magnet train, and more.

2 Castelia City ꦦ

Castelia City is the first time that players were introduced to a massive 3D metropolis, paving the way for places like Lumiose, Wyndon, and others to thrive. This huge city is home to giant🌳 office buildings, countless stores and restaurants, interesting back alleys, piers, an art gallery, and much, much more.

This city feels truly "city-like" and sprawling, almost like visiting the New York City it's based on. The skyscrapers tower overhead, thousand🐎s of suits and workers hustle by, tourists line up for trendy food carts, and you can get hopelessly lost around every corner.

1 ꦚ ꧋ Lumiose City

One could argue that Castelia City waܫlked so Lumiose City could run. This huge city, based loosely on Paris🦩, is a towering achievement of design and function. Situated in the northern section of the Kalos region, Lumiose is crowned by its stunning Prism Tower.

The Parisian architecture and cute cafes that line the streets are amazing, severed by a large canal that runs through the city. The Gogoat taxi service is a unique feature and makes traversing the city entertaining. Listing the number of stores, services, and points of interest would be a difficult task because Lumiose features so many of each. It's truly a fantastic city, and ultimately a great design by the Pokémon developers.
