16 Shy Guys

Characters from the Mario Bros. universe manage to make their way into all sorts of titles, even if they're not invited. One person has decided to introduce one of the most recognizable beings to Among Us with the Shy Guys Mod.

The title says it all in that all the crewmates in the game will be transformed into Shy Guys when installed. Considering that the game is about a bunch of astronauts hiding behind masks while trying to find the monster hiding in their ranks, the Shy Guys fit pretty well into the scenario since they're wearing masks.

15 ꦏ ♒ Love Couple

With so much of Among Us focused on turning your back on playersꦺ and sneaking around to betray others, the love couple mod ⭕turns that idea on its head and focuses on falling in love with another player.

This ܫAmong Us mod randomly assigns two players together as the “𝐆Love Couple,” and they win the game if they are among the last three players left alive. The interesting thing about this mod is that a normal player and the Impostor can be a “Love Couple,” without knowing each other’s roles. It almost functions as a cuter version of Mr. And Mrs. Smith, and that’s just awesome.

14 ꦍ Everyone Vents

Every player can vent all they want in the chat, but the Everyone Vents mod makes it a bit more literal than spouting your fe🌸e𓄧lings. Venting is a means of transportation that is exclusive to Impostors, where (most commonly after eliminating a Crewmate) the Impostor can hop into a nearby vent and travel to another part of the ship.

This is a clear giveaway that someone is the Impostor if someone else sees it happen, but with this mod, every single player has the option to travel via vents, which makes everyone extremely mobile while also making the Impostor wa🅠y harder to pinpoint. While not available to download, players can vent as much as they please by joining custom lobbies that already have the mod attached.

13 ♛ Extra Roles 🐓

There are a lot of mods that add additional roles and mechanics to t꧂he game, some of which can be covered in depth. The Extra Roles mod introduces several new roles into the game (four to be exact), some of which are similar ♓to other mod roles, but two are unique.

Of these roles, one of them is the Medic. Unlike the Doctor, the Medic cannot revive dead crewmates but can apply protection to a crewmate who is still alive. The other is the Engineer, which gets an altered map interface to fix sabotaged elements remotely. The inclusion of these two roles can noticeably alter how both crewm♏ates and impos⛎tors operate.

12 Mayo🧔r Role 𝐆

While one of the more simple roles to have been added to Among Us through the modding community, the Mayor Role provides some massive power to one individual at the beginni✃ng of each game.

When a player is assigned the role of Mayor, the game plays almost the same until a meeting beg🍷ins. The Mayor is assigned two votes instead of one, which can sway a voting session in a big way, or force a tie in certain situations. It’s a small amount of power, but it makes a gigantic difference when it comes to the fate of the vote.

11 Vܫampire Role ꧑

Believe it or not, having a ridiculously overpowered Impostor can be fun! There are very few Among Us mods more geared toward making the Impostor feel otherworldly powerful than the Vampire Role, whi♛ch turns the Impostor into an absolute nightmare.

With this role, the Impostor gets a modified Kill Cooldown timer that allows the p🎃layer to kill Crewmates faster than normal. The Impostor can also fly through walls by turning into a bat, with little to no repercussions, because the Impostor stays anonymous while in bat form. Possibly the biggest kicker is that the Impostor can see the locations of every player on the ship at all times. If you don’t already have enough reason to be frightened of vamp🐻ires, this mod will give you more.

10 ꦫ The Haunted Mansion Map

In terms of ongoing game updates, the devs have put a lot of effort into creating new maps with different layouts and themes. However, there's always room for new ones to be put in, especially considering the different themes and architectural styles out there.

The Haunted Mansion Map mod includes a whole new spooky playground to run around in and explore. The situation is already scary and tense, to begin with, so it's nice to have a traditional horror-based setting to drive the point home while providing an alternative to the usual sci-fi environments.
