168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and ♛the Lost Demon's fourth boss is an unexpected foe with a long list of bizarre lines and strategies alike. This unconventional foe, however, comes with some nostalgia from the first Bayonetta game, and defeating it will leave a satisfying aftertaste.
After storming Puca's fortress and being denied the Fire Elemental Core, you'll face King Puca, King of the Faeries. He rides a high, tiny horse, and he summons Cereza's very first angelic opponent. With angels and puzzle traps to do his dirty work for him, it comes as no surprise that the faerie king himself is a bit of a pushover.

King Puca is a cowardly boss that relies mostly on another summoned 'boss': Affinity. He can summon multiple of them, and defeating them and 'Puca's Puzzle' will be the keys to unlocking the ability to hit Puca.
Affinity, on the other hand, is an intimidating 'boss' that moves quickly and can very suddenly get the upper hand if given the leverage. Although generally simple to deal with in Phase One, its sheer numbeᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚrs in Phase Three can quickly humble the arrogant player.
To deal with these bosses, Cereza should prioritize skills with relation to Thorn Bind. Combining Absorption and Venom Thorn is helpful here to keep Cheshire's magic up and lessen the threat of Affinity's speed.
The bare minimum of the first Multi-Bind should🎀 🙈absolutely be invested in, but higher versions of this skill are also recommended.
Cheshire, on the other hand, should focus on complementing Cereza's Thorn Bind skills with skills that relate to Bind Combo. Water Mastery is a must for aꦓ fight with multiple enemies that have fire shields, and Shift Strike can allow Cheshire to switch into Water Form if a Fire Shield is suddenly conjured and catches you off guard.
Thick Skin and Claws a♏nd Fangs are also a must for increased survivability and better damage.
Phase One - Learning Affinity
Phase One only features a single Affinity. Puca doesn't have much of a presence, so you'll get to focus on familiarizing yourself with Affinity's moves before Phase Three.
If this is your first playthrough, it is recommended to step back and familiarize yourself with Affinity's patterns. Phase Three heavily punishes those who didn't learn from Phase One's cues.
Many of Affinity's attacks are clearly telegraphed, and the overuse of Ground Stab means that you'll have ample opportunity to get good Thorn Vices in.
At the halfway mark of Affinity's health bar, Puca will interrupt-cast a Fire Shield around Affinity. It's made quick work of with Aquastream/Water Cheshire's Slash, so get rid of the shield and carry on as you did in the first half of this phase.
Once Affinity's health bar is depleted, the Iron Maiden will open. Strike the angel multiple times in the direction of the Iron Maiden for it to be silenced (for now).
Defeating the Affinity will have you s🎉uddenly thrown into Phase Two.
Phase Two - Puca's Puzzle
Puca's second phase is entirely unique in its choice to include a puzzle instead of combat.
There's nothing to face here except the clock of the deadly machine whirring behind you when you first are teleported into King Puca's maze. He throws fireballs onto both paths as you progress, 🌳requiring Water Cheshire to put them out on both sides of the map.
The puzzle is t𓆉hankfully very straight forward but requires some quick movement due to the time limit:
- Open the first doors by having Cheshire and Cereza step on the buttons (each button works on the opposite side's door).
- Put out the fire on Cheshire's side while Cereza moves to the next button up top.
- Send Cereza south while Cheshire puts out the fire on her side with Aquastream.
- Activate the button on Cereza's side and send both north.
- Have Cheshire push the crate in Cereza's way with Aquastream.
- Put out the fires on Cereza's side with Cheshire and destroy the gates on his side with Slash.
- Press the button on Cheshire's side and both buttons on Cereza's.
- Send Cheshire around on the right side of his map and have both stand on the buttons at the end.
- Block the laser turrets with Stone Cheshire and stand on the button on his side.
- Send Cereza through the opened door to step on the next button.
- Put out the fires on both sides and send Cereza to the next button.
- Navigate through the spike traps and press the buttons on the way.
- Put out the fire on Cereza's final button and have both stand on their buttons to open the door.
Completing 🐼all of these steps will put you into the grueling Phase Three.
Phase Three - An Affinity For Suffering
Full Attack List |
|
Phase One Attacks |
These Affinities each have t⛦he same moveset as the Phase One Affinity, and they start with all available attacks regardꦿless of their health pool. |
Fire Shield |
Puca randomly casts🎶 a Fire Shield around one Affiniཧty. |
Wrath Of Affinity |
After defꦉeating one Affinity with the Iron Maiden, Puca summons three waves of singular Affinities using Ground Stab, two waves of double Affinities using Ground Stab, and one wave of four Affinities using Grab Stab. Some may have an active Fire Shield. |
Fire From Above |
After defeating one Affin🃏ity with the Iron Maiden, Puca may summon 2-3 balls of fire and send them down to the arena. These fireballs prioritize Cereza, and they are telegraphed by small, flashing red circles. |
The first part of Phase Three echoes Phase One, but it comes with double the trouble. With two Affinities on the field, you'll have to juggle both of them, but don't necessarily need to defeat them.
To progress, you only need to focus on one Affinity. Each Affinity has its own health bar, and only one needs to be defeated to trigger t🌃he pseudo-cut scene.
When prompted, race to the pieces of the Iron Maiden to repair it. Once repaired, you can echo the steps of Phase One by hitting the angel into the trap.
You can skip this section by attempting to repair the Iron Maiden before the prompt. However, this is not recommended due to the high likelihood of being struck while ๊in the Regenerate animation.
You're more likely to lose more health by repairing the maiden than you are fighting the Affinities.
With one Affinity defeated, Puca will fall off his high horse (literally), and you can take advantage of this to get several🦂 attacks in. Thorn Bind to increase𒈔 this window of opportunity.
When Puca reaches half health, he'll jump back on his horse and begin chain-summoning Affinities that use Ground Slam. There are six waves:
- Waves One to Three: A single Affinity appears and uses Ground Slam.
- Waves Four to Five: Two Affinities appear and use Ground Slam simultaneously.
- Wave Six: Four Affinities appear and use Ground Slam simultaneously.
The final wave can be a bit tricky to dodge, but keep Cereza running (the That Way! skill can be used here for a dash) to stay out of the 💎🦄telegraphed yellow circles.
The attacking and moving pattern during this stage is very similar to the cannon and fireworks attacks used during the Aꦓmadan Dubh boss fight.
On the other side of this stage, Puca will get a touch more involved. His Fire Shield casting will become more frequent, and he'll start using 'Fire From Above.'
With fire coming down constantly, you'll need to be careful when you use Cereza's Thorn Bind/Thorn Vice. Keeping her in any position for two long will open𝐆 her up to an attack from💧 Puca.
Beyond Puca's increased passion for the fight, the Affinities are very much the same. Repeat the strategy of focusing on one Affinity and then repairing the Iron Maiden when prompted.
When Puca falls, finish him off in order to get your button-mashing ending: forcing Puca into an Iron Maiden with Aquastream. Once the Iron Maiden closes, you can put dℱown your controller and celebrate putting down the King of Faeries - sort of.
